Pros:- Crystal clear sound, picks it up better than anything else I've tried.- Compact design for both the mic and mixer, mic fits easily into mounts and booms.- Gain goes up as loud as you could ever need, and mixer comes with a button tailored to recording instruments.- Wonderful price, especially considering it takes the hassle out of finding a mic and mixer separate.Cons:- Mixer didn't come with instructions, many controls are confusing.- Included pop filter is garbage, replace it immediately.If you want to break into the world of XLR mics for podcasts, content creation, voice acting, singing, whatever, you want to start here.

This review is for a package containing the Behringer U-Phoria UMC202HD, the Audio-Technica AT2020 condenser microphone, a 10 foot XLR mic cable, and a pop-filter. I was mainly interested in the UMC202HD because I wanted to collaborate with other musicians via online jamming platforms. I had also been looking for a low-cost condenser mic and the AT2020 comes highly recommended in its price range. I can always use another XLR mic cable, and the pop-filter comes in handy when using a sensitive condenser mic. Just about everything in the package exceeded my expectations. In particular, the UMC202HD has very low latency for online jamming - mine comes in at 2.4ms on the "jamkazam" platform. It's also worked very well for home recording. It has direct monitoring, phantom power and very nice-sounding microphone pre-amps for the XLR connections. An unexpected benefit is that it's headphone output is noticeably superior to the headphone output on my PC. I guess that shouldn't he a surprise. The sound card on my PC is run-of-the-mill. The UMC202HD obviously does a much better job of digital to analog conversion and audio output. There are other digital audio interfaces out there, but I doubt you'll find a better one for the price. Finally, the AT2020 has a surprisingly warm sound for a condenser mic. It's sensitive and detailed as you would expect. I should note that it has a cardioid pattern, so it picks up best from the front of the microphone, rather than from the sides or back. Overall, I've been very please with the whole package.

I am a Freelance Voice Actor and this was my first serious purchase as an investment for my business. The Snowball is good but the clearness of this microphone blows it out of the water. It's so good. The audio interface is also simple to understand and play with. I probably would have appreciated if it came with a mic stand and a headphone adaptor for the interface as well but all in all I'm very happy with it and excited about the places my first XLR mic will take me.

Works great, but the XLR cable included was faulty and I had static coming through. Luckily I had another cable lying around
