I just got a few wyze cameras and wanted to mount some outdoors under an overhang. I bought a 3-pack of these housings, but was disappointed to see that they have no weathersealing (silicone, rubber, etc) and that the housing and mount are all thin brittle plastic. The plastic on one of them has already cracked where the metal ball joint is, and the plastic nut/ring that helps tighten the camera to the threaded end stripped on two of them. (I did not over tighten them, as the cameras were still able to wobble right before the thread stripped. Given how the plastic has performed so far, I don't expect these to last if exposed to the heat/cold/sun.

All 3 camera mounts were neatly packaged and all the parts were in the box. It even included screw anchors and a screwdriver, but I had to use my own Phillips screw driver because the one they give you strips out. Still, this is the cheapest one I could find and it should serve us well. The plastic is of good quality. I would recommend it if you’re looking for one.

This product is a great alternative to a lot of the higher priced cameras. They worked so well in our house. Will definitely be getting more

The camera mount fits my wyze cam v2 and the Manufacturer supplied usb power cable perfectly. Happy that the swivel arm is very sturdy so that the position and aim of the camera won't move with a gust of wind. Assembly was super simple. They even included a screwdriver which perfectly fit the screws used to attach the back plate.

Easy to install. One broke while installing. I still like the product. I might buy it again in the future.

Great bang for my buck. Cameras work. Person detection is a little lackluster, but they're working on it. Wyze makes good stuff

An excellent accessory for the wyze cam camera . could not get my camera set-up the way I wanted too with the bracket supplied . This bracket gives you plenty of options to set the camera up your way .I was please to see the mount included a small screw driver to address the tiny housing screws. Overall very please.

Good cover for the wyze camera

*** keep in mind this only flat-cable friendly.The tight case setup allows a flat OEM cable to bend down and sip out the slot in the bottom.I’ll have to drill a larger hole in the actual back to accommodate the longer , round cable I bought.Not a big issue though. The case is fairly weather resistant, but I still wouldn’t put it completely exposed to rain. If you wanted more resistance you could wrap some electrical tape around the seam, but the front camera hole will be open with no way to seal that.It’s just nice to have the BACK of the cams covered, the exposed USB slot and speaker hole(s) .

These mounts are designed simply and very well. I would definitely recommend at this price. I was initially concerned about potential heat build up but so far they’ve been working perfectly in the summer outdoors.I did modify the base a little because I would’ve preferred that the cable could’ve been routed through the base of the mount into the camera housing. Other than that I love these mounts.

Works as described, not weatherproof but work for what I needed.

Suits my needs. The only problem was it can only work with flat cable. Normal USB cable will require bit of work. Also it would have been great if there was some theft protection.
