Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, Vol. 1 (1) Paperback – June 12, 2018

I’m surprising myself for actually leaving a review, but this series is too good not to. It’s premise is so ridiculous I thought it would be the dumbest read ever, but its a zany madcap series that keeps the reader laughing so hard it almost hurts. I’ve read 17 books in the series so far and somehow, some way, the author has managed to keep the search for quality bedding fresh and funny. I kept waiting for it to get stale and it just never did. I did come to the conclusion that the princess has to be a cat in disguise or something. Exact same behavior!Side note: I first learned of this series by watching the anime show. Hopefully they will make more seasons as more books are released.

This story was beyond hilarious. That girl got her priorities. Who cares about escaping when the real struggle is a good night's sleep. I also love the whole setup with the Demon King, and honestly how he seems to see this more almost as a game where he sets up the dungeons for the hero to eventually reach him the final boss. It makes even that aspect of the story just too cute. Every part was just fun.I will say the first copy I got was a misprint. The pages started repeating about halfway through. But they replaced it for free so I'm still happy.

A great series to start out at, definitely better than the anime. Hoping for another season and many more books!

My daughter was very excited about this book. Unfortunately pages 50-64 were printed in 2 sections of the book. Pages 113-129 are missing and in its place are pages 50-64. Obviously a printing error.. the story is good. Returning and hoping the replacement has the correct pages and the full story. This is a first.Vol 2 & 3 were also ordered and so far seem to be correct.UPDATE: I returned the book no hassle. I reordered the same one and thankfully no printing errors, full story.

This one is a lot of fun. It's totally cute with a rather dumb story (in a good funny way) and if you are looking for a good laugh I'd say check it out!

Overall this manga had me laughing in every chapter. It never got dull. It’s really funny to see what the princess will do next for her beauty sleep. Overall I recommend, it’s definitely worth checking it out.

I loved this! It was simply funny and a bit ridiculous. The princess in search of a way to sleep after being kidnapped makes pillows and sheets out of the demons.... that's just for starters. She never tries to escape, dies and is resurected a bunch, and never seems to be fearful the entire time

Só que invés de sentir medo, nossa pequena princesa preguiçosa só quer dormir! E nós ela se mete em diversas aventuras virando o castelo dos demônios de cabeça pra baixo!

Book is in great condition, and the book itself is a wonderful comedy series. The art is especially well made.

Mit ihrer unschuldigen, süßen, missverstehenden sowohl als auch häufig Empathie losen Art und weise, stellt sie auf ihr weg alles auf den Kopf, ob es die Dämonen oder die Festung selbst ist, sie macht vor nichts halt, um den perfekten schlaf zu bekommen!Mit der zeit wird es zur norm, das die Prinzessin so gut wie alles machen kann was sie will und alle freunden sich mehr oder weniger mit ihr an.Jeder Kapitel ist anders, aber alle haben den gleichen ziel, den perfekten schlaf, doch der weg dort hin ist immer anders und mit jedem Kapitel und teil der Reihe entwickeln sich die Charaktere weiter, was echt spaß macht es mit zu bekommen!
