Midwest Hearth Decorative Polished Black Pebbles 3/8" Gravel Size (2-lb Bag)

I've had this hand soap/lotion dispenser set for a dozen years now; I inherited it from the last renter of the little granny house I use to live in. When I moved out this past January 2024 I asked my dear Landlady & Friend Maria if I might take it with me and she said yes! It's always the little things that make me happy : ) This used to have a silk rose leaf in it with white stones, and I always wondered, why not the rose? But I use Lavender soap anyway and so decided to change things up.The photo I enclose is the end result of my crafting. The stones were the sizes just as ordered. They were clean, black, some very dark gray, some with speckles. They had a very light coating of wax, nothing I could scrape off with my fingernail mind you, except on 1 or 2 stones in the entire bag. The wax had no smell except for that of ordinary paraffin, which itself is almost scentless. I poured the stones into a colander and rinsed them because of what I read here. The stones rinsed absolutely clean but for 2 specks of something black. I let them air dry on a towel and then added them to my soap dispenser, Voilá!

I used this in Japanese flower arrangements to cover the Kenyan (frog). This size will not fall in between the needles making it easy to clean the kenyan.

Needed this to complete a stone art project I did and it works perfectly. I purchased the 2IB bag, though the stones are a bit smaller than I expected so I I used them in the middle and the bigger ones I purchased from the dollar store on top of the art piece. If you’re looking for a polished stone, you should definitely purchase this.

These small stones give plants a finished look. They are fairly uniform in size with a nice soft luster, not too dull and not too bright.

Perfect for surrounding candles or plantes.

I used these to fill a pot I got from Ikea for a fake bamboo tree and let me tell you it looks super sexy. White flower pot with these little stones in it look so good. If you get a 9 inch pot like I did this should be just enough to cover the top.
