This is PERFECT for a nursing student!!!
This is PERFECT for a nursing student!!! Let me list the reasons why:1. How it looks: This is WAY better than a rolling backpack because as you know, you are entering a professional field. So a backpack is just not going to cut it. It's beautiful in every way. It has a clean look, compact yet roomier than it appears. It is a hard case so you're not going to see it droop or sag. The briefcase handle grip is sleek and the retractable handle bar mechanism is smooth and strong. Here's the best part--Swissgear's logo is a red cross! How perfect is that for a nursing student!!2. What it fits: I was able to load it with 6 science textbooks! I actually don't have that many for nursing school, but I took my textbooks and tested its loading capacity. There are 3 main compartments: front section, "laptop" section, and "clothing" section. The front section will carry 1 book with room for all your essentials. Just above the front section is a zippered little slim pocket that has ample room for a large smart phone. The "laptop" section can carry a large laptop or textbook and 2 more textbooks (if you don't like the laptop straps, you can neatly tuck them away). The back "clothing" section can carry 2 textbooks (the straps to hold clothing can be neatly tucked away). Here's the best part of the back "clothing" section for a nursing student -- there are 2 mesh pockets that are intended for overnight essentials, but I'm using them for my stethoscope and bp cuff! I probably will have 4 textbooks and 2 large 2.5-inch binders. The briefcase is wide enough that you can scoot the textbooks over to the side to make room for a 24 oz Contigo water bottle and lunch.3. Durability: Although I only just received this briefcase recently, I have no doubt it will hold up after normal use. Why? Because I own the Swissgear suitcase/luggage set and have traveled with it for nearly 20 years. And only one luggage has a broken metal framing, which is to be expected, considering how much abuse the worker's at the airline put checked bags through.4. The retractable handle bar: It is long enough to accommodate really tall people, but it's not at all awkward for someone my size - 5'4". And it's black rather than chrome, which I like. Again, that's inline with the professional appeal. It does not look "cheap."5. Rolling sound: It is not super quiet but it's not obnoxiously loud either. I think the quieter wheels actually wear out faster so I'm ok with a little rolling noise. Perhaps it could be distracting if you're late to a lecture rolling in with this case. If you want to sneak in without being heard, pick it up by the handle and walk in like a professional!6. Stands solid: It does not tilt forward like some rolling backpacks and bags, especially when it's fully loaded. It zips at the top, which is great, however, you will need to zip and unzip both zippers in order to get to your things. But you would need to do that with a rolling backpack, also.Final thoughts: I expect to be using this briefcase for both years of nursing school. After that, I plan to use it for work or for travel. To me, the collective reasons I've stated above makes this briefcase worth every penny!

In LOVE with this bag (so far)!
This works as a Carry-on or personal item on most US Domestic flights. I travel a fair amount for work (About 8 flights this month), and my previous bag finally gave up after years of service. I went looking for something durable with great wheels and good features for travel. After considering a dozen various bags and returning another, i landed on this (Swissgear Granada Rolling Case). I could not be more pleased. For my needs, it is the perfect bag! Large enough for my 15" Mac Book Pro, external HDD, Power cables, clothes for a couple of days and various accessories (i.e. power bank, snacks, camera, etc.). The only CON is that sometimes it feels a little unsettled/large when i carry it on top of another rolling carry-on suitcase... I don't mind this much because the upside is that i only carry it like that for two short portions of my trips (At the airport), and the floors are mostly so smooth that it doesn't bother me much. The hardest part is usually walking up the jet bridge when exiting an aircraft. It takes two hands to make it up the carpeted walkway. I also do a fair amount of city walking where i use this as a rolling bag on sidewalks, and it handles like a champ!

Finally found the perfect case!
I am the kind of person who is always looking for the perfect bag. I haven't found the perfect case that meets all of my needs - until now! This bag is the perfect size for a laptop, cords, mouse, files, books, and all of my personal accessories that I would normally carry in a purse. I do not like the look of the bags that, when they aren't full, look collapsed (I think it is a sloppy look). This bag holds it's shape whether it is empty or full. It is classy for a man or a woman. The zippers and the denier nylon are very high quality. The telescoping handle comes out high for tall people. The wheels roll very smoothly. The handle zips into the case very neatly. It does not have a shoulder strap or the capacity to use a shoulder strap, FYI, in case you want to carry it on your shoulder you woudn't be able to do so. If you haven't tried a wheeled case before, you may like it, it makes life a lot easier! I do not normally take the time to write reviews, but this bag had impressed me so much. I thought it would be worth my time to let others know how it has helped me immensely by keeping everything in one bag, and looks classy as well. All for around $75.00, you cannot go wrong for the value!

First Impressions: Great Daily Office Case
Just received this. Initial impressions: Relatively lightweight case. Excellent telescoping handle: longer than necessary for my 6-foot frame and tucks away completely in a zippered compartment. Very quiet and sturdy-seeming wheels. Smooth zippers with large teeth. The case tilts back at a slight angle when at rest, on the very sturdy base you can see in the photo... a major plus for me, since I've been seriously inconvenienced with past cases that toppled forward when filled. (Balance is further enhanced by the rearward laptop compartment; the equivalent of a mid-engined car.) the construction is well-stiffened with braces, even though the material is soft. No apparent sagging. More interior stash compartments in the forward compartment than may be evident from online photos. I have lots of smaller doodads that need homes and they have found them. the well in this forward compartment is deep and full-width; easily accommodates my wide, hard eyeglass cases and would hold more file folders if necessary. Not a lot of larger pouches (though two mesh pouches in the "clothing" compartment serve me well for laptop power supply storage). Loads of room for my 15 inch laptop and a bunch of files. Great first impressions. We'll see how they hold up!
