3 Digit Oven Mitts - Pair Black + FREE Clamp

These are made from a high temperature resistant silicone. But that does not mean that they don't transfer heat. (a point obviously missed by the designer) This material is very good for cookware as it transfers the heat to the items being cooked. Unfortunately when I am cooking I am not trying to cook my hands as well. They would work if there was a layer of some type of insulation between your hands and the outer shell. Also, if you have these on your hands and you begin to feel heat, it is already too late. The heat remains in the gloves for a while and it is difficult to take them off in a hurry. Save your money and buy cloth oven mitts with kitties on them.

they work kind of if you dont hold the items long. its not insulated so they are not awesome just kind of work..

Heat goes right through these. And unlike traditional mitts that will cool quickly and allow you to grab things once again, these retain heat for quite some time. Terrible, terrible product. The clamp is uncomfortable to use, but that could be personal preference. The three finger design is interesting, but the rubber sticks to itself making them difficult to put on and remove, and of course they don't protect you from the heat anyways!

Large hands stick to them while trying to put them on. They worked but were a pain.

Use all the time, work great!
