Helps my lower back without blood rushing to my head
Tried to use an inversion table. But I couldn't deal with the blood rushing to my head when hanging upside down. This is a slow, gentle way to relieve compressed disks in my lower back.

Not sure it’s helping
I am still getting adjusted to this back stretcher and I am not certain it is helping. It is somewhat awkward to use and I haven’t yet up change to stretch and my lower back that I am looking for. I have degeneration of the vertebrae in my lower back so must stretch that area regularly. So far, the use of the device has not made a difference in my discomfort. However I have only Had it fir two weeks. Maybe it’s helping and I don’t realize it. Maybe I’m not using it correctly?

Really helps stretch my back in a controlled manor.
I use a foam pad under my knees when I use this because my knees are old and hurt when I kneel in this position.

Saves my back from an operation!
The best item ever for low back pain, I use it every day to stay out of the hospital for an operation. Takes up a lot less space than inversion tables, which I have had three of. It focuses the stretch on the lumbar region, the part of the back that most folks have problems with. I could not say enough good things about it.

Same as at my chiropractor
This is the same machine my chiropractor has at their office. Love that I can have it at home too to stretch my lower back.

Well worth it
This is an indispensable piece of equipment for me. It’s a bit expensive but worth it. I’ve had it for a couple of years now and, every time I’ve had lower back pain (including referred pain into my legs), this thing has fixed it. It’s not always an instant fix - it can take a few days of regular use before it starts to resolve. However I can feel it slowly getting better each time. The pictures make it look as if you have to hang and don’t have control. But you can easily put your hands on the ground to have total control of the degree of stretch. The key is to get a comfortable stretch and then relax into it. You can get yourself into a position that’s as far as you can go, put your hands on the ground to hold it there and allow the lower back to totally relax. Then you can take it a bit further as the muscles relax. If the muscles in the lower back are tense and seized up, you may not be able to go as far with it compared to having relaxed muscles. When the muscles around the spine are relaxed, they start to let go and the compression on the disc between vertebrae starts ease. It’s a wonderful feeling when you feel the whole area start to relax and it’s more effective than any massage I’ve had! It only does the lower back and the lower part of the thoracic spine, so it won’t fix neck issues. But it’s great for the lumbar spine and I don’t need to see a chiropractor for the lumbar spine any more. The device itself has also held up well and is still in perfect condition.
