Does the hardware come with the tape already applied? Or does the tape come separate so that i can put on my own instead?

The tape comes with the kit but it is not attached to the hardware you have to apply it.

Does the threading go all the way to the end of the post?

Yes they do but they're easily stripped so don't over tighten

Does it Have metal threads or plastic threads

they have metal, and they work great make sure to clean area with alcohol

The brackets are made out of metal and they're great I've got two sets of them I ordered like a backup set in case something happens cuz on occasion you might have to redo them every once in awhile
