As expected

Seller has been very good in getting out information to us on the part. We thought we received the wrong part but it was actually the latest model. I had previously left a negative review and would like to say to disregard that review It was a total misunderstanding. The seller explained things to us well and was willing to do a refund if we so desired. We are now keeping the part, now that we know it's a newer model.

Install went smoothly till I turned the water on. Water sprayed out of all ports. I had to call a sprinkler company who explained that the valves where open to the test mode. When the valves where shut by turning the screws parallel to the pipes the backflow preventer worked perfectly.

I suspect the issue with the prior unit was the lawn service that blows it out for the winter did not close the valve and over time - the back pressure took its toll. New unit works great and no more leaks when house water pressure changes (like turning on the garden hose or having the washing machine start).

Seller shipped quickly and it came exactly as promised.

Restored quiet operation and function to our irrigation system. This replaced the same part that we had for 20 years.
