Yanagisawa B-9930 Silver Series Baritone Saxophone

Dont buy this! YANAGISAWA is not that good of a brand and dont pay 12K on a baritone sax that you cant try out before hand. I have not bought it but i can tell you just from the reviews of the brand that it will not work. Please spend your money wisely and dont just spend it on a sax that is expencive because it is "Better than the cheaper ones"

Amazing horn. The other reviewers likely have never played one. Great sound, response, and intonation. I much prefer it to Selmer. Look up any review on SOTW and you'll hear only positive things.

Worst horn

I am qualified to grade 8 with the associated boards. I now have 3 Yanagisawa saxes. alto, tenor Bari.The people who have slated this sax clearly have no idea what they are talking about. Don't believe me?Google it or look on you tube. Look at professional reviews by professional players and institutions such as sax.co.uk. Cambridgesaxophone, shwoodewind, Dawkesmusic etc plus many independent teachers and reviewers on YouTube.The build quality is second to none and acknowledged by leading makers such as Selmer and Yamaha. Yanagisawa incorporate technical innovations other sax makes just do not possess. The intonation is spot on out of the box. Also, try and get one of these saxes from a store or on line. They are so hard to get hold of because they keep selling out! Go on, try it! Hope this review helps, Lee x
