Awesome Cadillac of mirrors for any bathroom
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Once again, time to change up something dated in the house! Our original bathroom in the house (we've added one to the basement already and have plans for a third) was so ridiculously old fashioned it made anyone cringe. We had a powder blue toilet with matching sink when we started. Which also matched the FULLY tiled from top to bottom room. Sigh. Anyways. Just finished updating the vanity and toilet and I decided that I wanted a fully loaded mirror. Not just a regular mirror, but a Cadillac of mirrors. The hubby laughingly agreed and here we are.Firstly, super easy to install. The size is excellent for a 36" vanity. Perfect edge to edge fit. If I had to hang it vertical, we could have because there was notches to hang either way. We already had the tile with the wiring open since I had to rerun the vanity light too, so it was the work of minutes to add this to the wiring. There was enough cord for a little play so that your fingers weren't smushed behind the mirror while trying to wire it in.The mirror itself is amazing (don't mind my unwashed hair and sweats in the video- remodeling is dirty work). The warm versus cool light is AWESOME for applying makeup. I mean, according to my oldest daughter. Haha. The amount of selfies she's taken in the bathroom since we've installed it is atrocious. I love the adjustability of the brightness too. Really, it's a much more pleasant alternative to in-your-face bright lights first thing in the morning when I'm sucking down coffee in the shower to get ready for a swing shift at work. Or for the few times I have the luxury of a bubble bath without the toddlers. Its plenty enough light to see what you're doing on any setting. And lastly, the heated anti-fog mechanism is great. I didn't realize that was a thing? It seems silly, but it is rather nice to hop out of a shower and not have to wipe down the mirror to see. Or leave wet streaks. Or use my hair dryer to make a little hole to throw some concealer on my raccoon grade under eye circles.

Worth the price!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. The main reason I spent extra money for lighted mirror was for anti fogging I live in LA as don't use much hot water only couple months in the year, this led lighted mirror built-in defrosting system, which keeps the mirror always a clear reflection. Making shaving, applying makeup, style hair, and brushing teeth easier than ever. It comes Packaged very well. Plastic shipping corners, shrink wrapped and static wrapped glass. Drywall anchors and mounting screws included. Has sturdy aluminum frame and good components. Touch switch on face is functional and brightness is easy to adjust by just holding your finger on the switch. Can be hard wired, switched or plugged in to 120v receptacle. The mirrors are gorgeous. Some of these style mirrors can't be wired into a switch due to the internal dinner. I bought these because they can. The other main reason I chose these is that they have the highest lumen rating of any I looked at. Imagine in the morning select bright daylight for brushing teeth and the evening select soft warm light for applying makeup to attend the ball. This Smart Technology that makes your life easier and more fun.

Good Budget Option With Areas to Improve
The mirror ships in a double-boxed setup with the mirror being encased in Styrofoam within the inner box. Upon opening the box, I noticed no damage to the unit, and it seems like it is packaged fairly well. The installation is not terribly difficult, but I did knock off a star for this. The company does provide the hardware necessary for installation (wire nuts, drywall anchors, and screws); however, I found it all mostly inadequate for the job. The wire nuts are too large for a single 12-gauge wire + the stranded wire, and even worse if you try to use it with the thinner ground wire. (I have plenty of wire nuts of various sizes lying around, so that wasn't an issue.) The drywall anchors provided are fairly standard push-in anchors, and there's absolutely no information on how to use them (e.g. no information on recommended drill bit size). I ended up using toggle bolts instead.Ultimately, I think the unit would benefit far more from having its price increased a bit if it meant adding a far better mounting system. Pricier units will use frame-based mounts where you mount a frame to the wall to which the mirror attaches. The instructions have you measure out the distance between the two holes (22 5/8" if I recall), and install the screws that way. If they wish to keep this method, I would recommend building a pattern into the smaller box flap that can be cut out and used to mark the wall. How well do the functions work on the mirror? I would say well enough for the price. The defogger is the main reason for purchasing the unit, and it does work. However, I want to caveat that the defogger's coils seem to be focused around the middle of the unit, and therefore, areas around there will still fog up. This hasn't caused me any issues as the clear area is right in the center where I need it. As for the lights, they're good for some basic, facial illumination or for seeing at night, but that's about it.

Just What I Needed
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I installed this in a bathroom below a staircase. Because the space is small and mirror and light would be too cramped. This is a perfect solution. The light is bright enough to provide plenty of light and the mirror is big. It’s a great piece and everyone that comes over loves it! Definitely would recommend this to anyone looking for a cool unique look or planning a small bathroom.

Very nice, but beware of ordering multiple
Really quite nice mirrors. We had purchased different mirrors that dis not work with a light switch correctly, these do and you can turn the light on with the switch (not just power the mirror). The only problem I have with the mirrors, as a perfectionist, is that we ordered two and the led colors are slightly different so one is cooler or more blue and one more yellow. If ordering a single mirror it shouldn't be a problem but you may have inconsistently if ordering more than one.
