Great while it lasted.
I purchased this after reading ups and downs of the reviews of the other wireless rain gauges listed on Amazon and decided to try an item which had never been reviewed! My previous rain gauge had passed away after about 5 years on the job but couldn't find the same brand on the market. So far, having just used the Misol for a few weeks, I am very pleased!! Super easy to set up, nothing to calibrate, easy to "operate" and as far as I can determine, accurate. Priced right also. Obviously, I can't speak to its longevity. I like being able to check the rain amount, by the hour, 24 hours, month, etc. So far can't find any downers!Update: A year or so later, I now speak to its longevity and am underwhelmed. Starting several months ago, the outdoor transmitter stopped working. Have now replaced batteries several times and am now not having any luck. Main unit and transmitter batteries test fine, but remote transmitter just won't. Too bad -- was great while it lasted.
