Happy Snowman Painter
By flipping the canvas to the blank side and ironing out the folds was step one, then I used a light coat of spray adhesive to smooth out the canvas on a sheet of dollar foam core. I wrapped the finish painting around the glass and cardboard of an existing unused 16x20 frame. I started with easier paint by number projects and found this one to be fun and manageable. I experienced no shortage of paint. Colors are slightly different than picture in kit, they lighter.

Too complicated for a novice
In the instructions it does tell you that you have to stretch it over a frame before painting and the frame is not included. However, I did not realize how difficult it is to get that done. And expensive. Also the printed lines and numbers are very hard to see and very small areas to paint within so I find this too difficult to be enjoyable. Someone who is really into painting might have better luck but I’m a novice and just wanted to do it for fun.

Great canvas painting project!
This is my new favorite hobby. Very relaxing. The blue colors were quite a bit brighter then what you see in the picture and some of the numbers were difficult to read. The canvas came folded, l wish it had been mailed in a tube. (Less wrinkles to deal with) On the plus side, the paints were adequate and did not dry out prior to completing the painting.

Love it
It does have folds in it but they will come out!I love this and it was so worth it!Just a tip: rinse your brush often. The paint dries on it quicker than you can paint all of a number. Besides that I recommended.

Super cheap paint
This paint is so thin. It is incredibly frustrating to try and paint something and have to go over the same color three different times before the numbers are finally (sometimes) not visible through the paint. I wanted to do a paint-by-number not a paint three times by number.

Poor Quality
I have done many paint-by-number paintings and have loved them. This was the first one I ever had complaints about. First of all, the paint. There wasn't nearly enough of some paints and what paint there was, was thick and gloppy. No matter how much I stirred it, that didn't help. Also, there were many areas that were not marked with a number, either on the canvas or on the blueprint. I guess that wasn't a big deal (although it takes away from the quality of the product) because I went back after I finished and made color changes to several areas of the picture, especially the oddly colored and configured snowflakes. I won't by from this company again.

Perfect for your first PBN
This was my first PBN and I loved it. The numbered sections were not too small so I felt like I was always making progress. I only had to do one coat of each color and no numbers showed through. Folds in the canvas are barely noticeable once I framed it behind glass. Highly recommend this cute and joyful snowman!

Nice but...
Although this picture came out very well when it was finished, I found it really hard to frame. 16 by 20 frames do not work because you cannot find a good mat to cover the sides of the portrait. I ended up making my own mat out of tag paper. If anyone has suggestions I welcome them.

Did not like the quality
I bought this for my 15 year old granddaughter for her birthday. I have had paint by numbers before, and theyare on a hard canvas. This is a stiff material {sorry I don't know what to call it}, and it arrives folded. The creases do not come out and the numbers are not very visible that are stamped on it. You will need lots of patience painting this picture. And I doubt very much that there is enough paint in the small containers to finish it. The 3 brushes are also of poor quality. Do not recommend

Not worth the money.
Half of the paint in the cups was dry and couldn't be used. How are you suppose to paint with that?
