Greenlee 2035 CrimpALL 1300/8000 Series Die For Insulated Terminals And Lugs

Makes excellent crimps the first time for insulated terminals. Go with higher quality nylon insulated ones if you can; the cheaper vinyl insulated ones don't always hold up as well, and the really cheap ones aren't always the right thickness. This worked perfectly for Tyco nylon terminals for 10-gauge wire (the yellow ones). The displayed dot pattern is embossed in the insulation after a proper crimp, which is a good indication of whether sufficient pressure was applied.

This fit my CrimpAll frame just like clockwork. It does crimp insulated terminals, but it could crush em down a bit tighter. If you are crimping wires on the smaller side of the gauge range, you sometimes need to go to the next smaller space to really lock the wire in. If you're already at the smallest range, well, you are out of luck.

This works great with my 1300 series handles. This die produces a neat, quality crimp on insulated terminals. It has come in handy so far on a car speaker and stereo installation job, and a two way radio installation.

I have had prior experience with Paladin crimpers so I had high expectations and I was not disappointed. Same great quality now that I had experienced before. Good to know that the brand still holds true.
