This is the perfect little coat for a working dog like my little golden puppy. She's usually outside with me at work and after a month of wearing I haven't seen any holes or tears. Of course she's out grown it now but once she's ready for a size large I'll definitely be ordering her another one. I would feel her belly on cooler days and it seems like it keeps in the heat very well. Very easy to get her in and out of it and covers her whole back and sides.

I got the small size for my Jack Russell Terrier. It fits him really well and he looks really good in it. Very easy to put on and take off. Stays in place (my lil guy has been running through bushes with it), quality is really really solid.It is a Chore coat, quilted on the inside. Warm enough by itself for fall, but as the temperature drops, I will have to pair it with some warm fleece on the inside. Have not tested it in a lot of rain, but it is decently water resistant, just like any other waxed cotton jacket.The material is the same as what we would expect in a men's chore coat. The buttons are riveted and are really solid (not flimsy). The stitching is on point and really good. The Velcro is solid and adjustable with plenty of room to accommodate a layer or two of fleece underneath. Absolutely worth buying.

Bought a size large and it’s perfect. Not too tight, not too large. The adjustable neck strap is awesome, we were afraid it wouldn’t fit him, as he is a thick necked, wide shouldered pup, but absolutely no issues. Very nice durable material, not too heavy, but will definitely help him retain heat in the brutal Midwest winters.We moved from Florida to Iowa this past January and quickly learned our dog hated any type of clothing! Funny enough, he didn’t even try to nip the coat when we first pulled it out, wish it was that easy back in January when he destroyed 3 puppy hoodies within minutes! Oh well, at least we have this awesome and stylish carhartt now! Bonus points - he gets to match with me on most days!

first I’d like to say that the sizing Is correct and the quality of the product is top tier And it does keep my dog warm. The only downside is this product is not for working dogs or dogs who do a lot of activity. And for dogs, I mean, shorthaired dogs. My dog use this a couple times for leisure walks, and he had no problem with it, but when it came to working for a couple of hours redness underneath his armpits on his front legs. The friction between the fabric and his skin kept rubbing against his armpits that his skin started to have bad rug burn. but nonetheless, I do think it’s a good product for dogs who have a lot of fur or just just like to go on leisure walks

If you're looking for cold-weather gear for your puppy, this is an excellent choice! Before ordering, I made sure to measure our pup, and it fits perfectly. With the chilly New Hampshire weather setting in, this has been fantastic for hiking and daily walks. The quality is outstanding, and our puppy seems extremely comfortable wearing it. Plus, it’s super easy to put on and use. Highly recommend for active pet owners!

Very nice and stylish! I purchased an X-Large for my 110lb Corso. The adjustable Velcro under the neck and stomach allow me to loosen and tighten as needed. This is the biggest size but does not fit the length of his body. Insulated but very stiff, instead of warm and fuzzy. But was expected for Carhartt. So if you’re looking for a warm winter coat for your dog this is not it. But great for the fall weather and looks nice overall!

I have had trouble finding a coat big enough for my dog, who weighs approx 100lbs (XL). True to size and Carhartt quality. The velcro is not whimpy. It even has two pockets for ags, etc... Worth the $!

Product came as described, I did unfortunately have to return as it did not fit. Our dog is quite deep chested and it is hard to find something with a proper fit. Otherwise the jacket was perfect.

I love carhartt as a brand, I own a few things myself and it's cool to see they're making pet stuff. This is very cute, materials are very nice and durable. My dog doesn't mind using it, although she doesn't like to wear ANYTHING really haha. But she doesn't try to remove it, which is a plus. The way it works, with velcros, makes it very easy to put it on and off and it feels like it protects fairly well from the cold. I'd recommend it, especially if you like carhartt products.

I have medium sized dogs (40lbs) and overall the fit is great, it would be nice if the coats were about 2 inches longer to cover their hip area a little more. Otherwise they are adorable, well made, and fit comfortably.
