Painting Case for Kindle Voyage (300 PPI, 2014 Released) Only - Cover with Auto Sleep/Wake, Birds

This is a lightweight case, but it is well made and relatively strong. The wake up feature is nice and it is super easy to put on and easy to take back off again. I liked the design and it has a nice texture as well, so when you hold it, it feels good in the hands. The cut out for the power button is the perfect size and it doesn't add a lot of weight to the device, so it isn't cumbersome. The front part that flips open is thin and lies flat behind the kindle when you fold it over. This was a very good deal for a really nice product. Satisfied.

I have a 5+ yr old Kindle Voyage that still works perfectly & has been described as Kindle's BEST E-reader. The cover that was originally purchases with my reader had seen it's day from the beating it took over those years. I read a lot & carry it with me almost everywhere in my bag. This cover is beautiful! It fits my old Voyage perfectly, the sleep mode works as it's supposed to, it's textured finish keep it from slipping from your hands & the vibrant colors make it easy to find in any room or bag. My only concern was that with the white background it would get old & grubby fast. I wipe it down occasionally with a mild cleaner & that seems to be keeping it looking like new. I like everything about this case & if I get 5 years out of this one I'll be happy.

My previous Kindle cover suddenly cracked at 2 of its 4 corners when I went to open it. It was also plain black. This kindle voyager cover is beautiful and unique. Very colorful. It fits the Kindle Voyager comfortably- not too tightly, not too loosely. The auto Sleep/Wake function works well. There is a hidden magnet that keeps the cover closed but it is very easy to open. My previous Kindle cover had a stronger magnetic pull (with visible magnets) when closing the cover that I actually prefer. However, the magnetic closing feature does its job with this cover and keeps the flap from opening at will. Access to the back cover power button is maintained. The perimeter of the Kindle Voyager is protected by a black plastic lip or edge into which the reading device is nestled. There is only a 1 1/2 inch area around the charging port that is not covered with this black plastic edging. The microfiber inside liner of the opening flap and binder area is gentle to the Kindle Voyager screen but not luxurious or expensive looking. The overall case is thin and very lightweight. One can open the flap and place behind the Kindle to read using one hand. The microfiber inner lining prevents the Kindle from sliding if placed on your thigh or lap. The exterior is textured slightly so that it is not slippery to hold. I would not call this Kindle Voyager cover flimsy- but it is very thin and light. I do not know how long it would last if it was mishandled and dropped a lot. I am careful with my Kindle and feel that this cover provides protection- but an Otterbox it is not. It is beautiful and makes me happy when I see it.

The Kindle Voyage (RIP) is still the best version out there but cases are few and far between these days (left over stock I'd imagine). I was previously using a plain black case of the same design (if you know how Amazon sellers work, you know sellers source from the same factories) that had become very worn looking so it was time for an upgrade. Fits perfect, magnets keep the lid in place, access to the power button and the Kindle will 'wake' when opened and sleep when closed. As a fan of 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa (神奈川沖浪裏, Kanagawa-oki Nami Ura, lit. "Under a wave off Kanagawa") woodblock print by the Japanese ukiyo-e artist Hokusai (published sometime between 1829 and 1833[1] in the late Edo period as the first print in Hokusai's series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji. It is Hokusai's most famous work and one of the most recognizable works of Japanese art in the world.) it was a no brainer to grab gthe case in this design.

Really like this cover - got it in the Wave design - stunning design with great colors. Kindle snaps firmly into it, and this cover DOES have a cut-out on the back side for the Kindle Voyage power button. Picture on product page of this design doesn't show power button cutout. Quite sturdy, and case is not slippery at all ( I drop things a lot -dropped my Kindle with my old case down the stairs last week). The Kindle didn't bounce out until the case hit the bottom step, and the Kindle still worked fine. Case was cracked, though, but it was wearing out anyway. Yes, the Kindle shuts off when you close the cover, and it turns back on for you to swipe the screen when you open it up.

This is a great case! It closes perfectly, the automatic on / off works great. I did have some trepidation based on some reviews that reported a poor fit, but mine is exact. It closes all the way easily and doubles back on itself providing a nice holding surface. I got the harvest pattern which is very bright and colorful. The case has a nice texture, it is hard and slightly rough. It feels like those frosted plastic water glasses they have at diners.

I bought this for my kindle voyage since my original cover finally broke after a few years. This cover advertised a sleep mode but it rarely worked. After using it for a few months I figured out it didn’t work because the case doesn’t quite close all the way so the magnets don’t trigger. I looked back through the reviews and noticed others have had this problem as well. It’s a cool cover of a library and looks nice but it doesn’t function very well. I often come back to my book to see that the simple act of picking it up or putting it down caused the pages to turn so I have to hunt around for my place again. It’s frustrating.

It's really good looking and fits my Voyager perfectly. It doesnt seem to be too sturdy, but the test of time will tell. So far been 3 months with it and have no complaints. It does seem, though, it will somewhat deteriorate over time, especially if you flip it open fully to one side so you can hold it in one hand. Or if you don't take good care of it. May be just my impression but it seems more like a fashionable cover, than a protective one. But anyway, would recommend this cover, definitely.
