My 6 yr old daughter loved it. She keeps this as her pet bird. She makes her sing so many songs and it is so funny to hear it imitate us in a funny noise. It is really an add on to my lil ones collection.

Repeats everything you say when button is pressed. Lovely little bird and soft to touch. Children and even adults had a lot of fun with this!

My daughter had a cage and Little Live bird whom she insisted was lonely, so when I was offered this to review I jumped at it! I received the Bow Beams version and my daughter (aged 5) couldn't be happier. She has a fuzzy flocked, deep pink body with light blue beak and feet. The feet work perfectly in the cage and also allow her to stand without issues. The wings are flexible and translucent, with white feathers at the top of the wing, close to the body, and cute pink bow with a heart and crown detail in the center of the bow. The wings glow blue. My daughter loves everything about it, and calls it her princess angel bird.The thing I like about this bird -- aside from being sturdy and well made, is that the noise the bird makes is not too horribly loud. There are sweet chirps and trills, and your child can record their voice and play it back. I also like that the power button actually lets you put the bird to sleep and not wait until it is ignored for a set amount of time.The thing I didn't like -- this bird arrived without batteries. Even though there is a "try me" side (the switch is pushed to the right for try me, the left for on, and center for off).

This is a pretty little toy, just the right size for younger kids. I think there are additional items you can purchase for these birds -- including a birdcage -- but we only have the bird. We received the Melon Brite model, the one with watermelon wings. It's very cute, but it is a drag you can't select which model you're going to receive when ordering. That makes things bad if you want to buy a bird for, say, three siblings -- kids don't usually want to have the same toy his/her siblings have.These run on batteries and the bird doesn't have the batteries installed while in the package, so you can't tell if a particular bird will actually sing until you open up the package and put some batteries in. I wish this wasn't the case as it makes you worry when you're giving these as gifts and can't determine if maybe the bird you bought won't work when opened. Ah, well. Ours worked OK, though.For the price, this is a nice little doll. The repeat-what-it's-told feature is really a good one for bird-themed toys. Just wish the company made these a little more user-friendly when purchasing.

The media could not be loaded.  A couple things to note first:🔴 Batteries! First thing to note is that this birdie needs 2 AAA batteries. Some of the others have included batteries but not this one- so heads up!!🔴 Second thing, the information I had said the watermelon bird was coming but the Heart Beams bird arrived- not a problem for us but for clarity just incase the item description next to my review says otherwise.Heart Beams is really cute and the light up wings are a lot of fun for my kiddo. She's 9 and LOVES these birds. The wings can be twisted/moved a little. It makes different chirps and tunes and repeats what's recorded (for a few seconds) in a cute "voice" (an example is in the video I posted with this review). I personally think it would be kind of cool if the birds could interact with the other birds in some way but that's not a complaint but a thought/suggestion. As noted in my picture, this bird fits in (**though, not included**) the cages made for Little Live Birds (they can hold 2 birds on the cage swing).
