Watching the Seasons (Welcome Books)

We bought this book for our 5 year old to teach her about the different seasons. The pictures are beautiful, and the description of each season is short and on point. The book, however, is smaller than I expected; not by page count, but by actual height and width. It's small. I am also not saying it's good or bad that it's small, simply that it is. I was expecting something taller and wider. I will post a picture later.

This book went perfect with a lesson I taught my PreK class. I would just recommend paying close attention to the size of the book. It was really small. Not sure if there’s a larger version out there. If there isn’t, is still by this again.

I bought this book to create a lesson plan based on one season (autumn), however, I am very glad I made this purchase. The photos are beautiful, and have clear and large descriptions that explain in simple language for children the main characteristics of each season and what people commonly do within a season. I highly recommend it!

Thin little paper back book. Nice to have on hand for little kids just learning about the seasons and weather. Great for teaching the overall concept of each season. Clear pictures. My son enjoys learning about when he can go outside with shorts and slides on. So he is awaiting the Summer fun :)

My kids love this book. We read it everyday for weeks. The pictures are pretty and easy to read

Great book to use with Interactive Read Alouds in our school district that matches our Science Standards in TN.

Great book for the beginning readers!

I didn’t realize this when I brought it but this book is super small. In size. I teach 4 year olds and they liked it.
