Q: Is it an Original equipment or aftermarket part?

I am not 100% positive, but the part # is the same and it works fine. I was having trouble with our insert not shutting down, and it was the thermistor or room sensor that was bad. Works great now.

Q: Is there a difference between the red and black wire probes for the HF60

If you use a red ESP, dipswitch #5 will need to ON, or UP. OFF, or DOWN with any other color.

Q: Is there a difference between the black and the red wire probes for the p61a harman stove?

Thanks for contacting us. Yes, you have to replace the ESP probe with the same wire color you currently have. If you currently have a red wire you need to replace with a red wire, Black with Black. Any other questions please let us know we are happy to assist. Thanks, Taylor-ESESstoves
