The materials of these are very good and attractive. But, I'm sure that these are probably guys pants being sold to women. Even the picture looks like a guy. Having said that, these can be easily modified by putting an elastic in the back over the spine area to cause the waist to gather or sew in partial or full darts in the back to gather the waist. The pull tie shown in the front does not work to gather the waist. It is just a tie for the front. I would comment that the sizing is not consistent. I bought two pairs in a size six. One requires a lot of waist gathering (2 inches), the other less (one inch).

They fit great but only because I ordered a size up. Most of the reviews said they run small and they were right. I usually wear size 4 or 6, but ordered an 8. The material is lightweight, quick dry but a little noisy and kinda stiff. But I’m gonna keep them because I like the color and the length is perfect for me.

Definitely runs small. My biggest complaint is the Velcro closure doesn’t stick well at all. As soon as you move it pops loose. Otherwise for the price they will work.

I wanted to like these. I really really did. They're long and they dry fast, which is great if you don't have a thigh gap and get thigh rashes walking from the car to the beach.But they STICK TO YOU WHEN THEY DRY! Y'all know that dreadful feeling of sitting on a vinyl or leather seat in short shorts and realizing your skin is stuck to it when you go to get up? These shorts do that ALL THE WAY UP YOUR INNER THIGH! Y'all, it's like getting a bikini wax trying to get them to unstick! Oh, sure, I could just get them wet and they'll unstick right away, but when they're dry, it means I'm done being wet!They're like giant bandaids stuck to all the skin your swimming suit bottoms don't cover.Oh yeah, that's another thing: these are swimming shorts. They don't have a liner. You do need to wear swimsuit bottoms in it (or go commando, I'm not your mom). Not a deal breaker for me, but it wasn't in the listing. Make of that what you will.Oof, learn from my trials. Just buy men's swim trunks and cut out the liner if you don't want it.

Large too small and thats what I would normally order, xlarge too big!

I ordered a size 16 and it was huge with elastic in the back. So I ordered a 14. It was very snug, no elastic in back.

I wanted to love these board shorts, but they are just OK. I was hoping these would be my go-to for kayaking and other activities on the beach, before swimming, wearing to amusement park with water rides that soak you, but they are not very comfortable for that. I’ve only worn them once so far because they were so uncomfortable. The length is great as far as coverage on legs, but the overall fit is not flattering, not slimming, because they do run big, especially at the leg openings. They flare out and are very “swishy” when you walk. The fabric feels like plastic, and it made me feel so HOT, in a bad way. We walked a couple miles on the beach, and by the end of the walk, I was dripping with sweat from these shorts, and they were just sticking to me, the legs kept creeping up my leg with each step. I could not wait to jump into the ocean. They are not “moisture wicking” at all, so I would not recommend wearing these for any activity other than ONLY swimming or being submerged in water. And lastly, the pocket is very small, not big enough to carry a phone or keys (ONE key will fit, but not securely since no zipper or closure), in case you are wondering, so if you need to have your phone or keys with you during any activity while wearing these shorts, you will need to carry them in hand, or use something else to hold them.

These are great quick dry material, delivered on time and great colours. However, I generally reckon on being a size 10 in shorts or trousers so I bought size 10 and they are so large they wouldn't even sit on my hips - just fell down even with the laces tied. So definitely drop a size from what you are expecting!

I got the white shorts and when I put them on, I loved them. They fit as expected, weren't too short or too long , not see-through, and the material is very comfortable. Until I bent over. Then my stomach (which is not flat) poofed out and I heard the ripping sound of the velcro that is where a zipper would normally be. About half of the velcro came undone. It was not ruined. I just had to pull it over and re-fasten it. But I don't particularly like hearing (or having other people hear) the velcro coming undone when I bend over or then having to re-close my pants. I wear my tops untucked, so no one will ever see anything when this happens, so I wear the shorts a lot. They are really comfortable. I would give them 5 stars if they had a zipper (or nothing) instead of velcro.

See through and size 2 is really more along the line of zero

Just nope. Too big. No stretch. Don’t shrink. Too swishy, if that makes sense? I was disappointed.

Way to small. I normally wear a 12 so I ordered a 14... should have gone 3 sizes up!!
