The male connections are well-built. Unfortunately, the female connection end is bad. One wire simply pulled out of the pin due to breakage. All of the female connectors used ceramic that has manufacturing defects. Finally, there are no seals for any wire ends to keep moisture/dirt/etc. out, not good in an automotive environment.Finally, the wires are NOT 12-gauge, they're 16-gauge with thick insulation. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Bought this to replace a connector on a Volvo C30 that has melted and been replaced two times. The overall design and material of the original connector is just bad. The originals just simply cannot stand the heat generated by the halogen bulb. After 2-6 months they just get brittle and crumble, leading to failure, so the idea of making the connector of ceramic seems to be a good one.The HUIQIAODS H11 H8 H9 881 880 High Temperature Ceramic connector seems to be mostly well made. You will notice it is of a little lighter construction than the original, but maybe it doesn't need to be as heavily made since the ceramic should withstand the heat better than the original. The wire is of lighter gauge than the original, but not so much so that I expect it to be a problem. As others have noted, at the point that the wires pass through the ceramic, there is no sealant. On some vehicles this might be a problem if the connector is exposed to the elements, but in my case, the entire connector is sealed in a waterproof headlight assembly.One thing to keep in mind, this is the connector only. No installation supplies at all as some of the other ones have. You'll need either butt splices for your gauge of wire, or you should plan to solder the connector wires in place as I did. You'll also ideally need some heat shrink tubing to protect the area where the connector was spliced in, or at least high quality electrical tape like Scotch 33+.Only had this installed about a week, if long term durability turns out to be a problem, I'll update this review, but for now, it seems to work as it should.

Plugged them in and they pooped the fuse in my car. After inspection, found out that the wires were soldered and shorted out under the black shrink tubing. The solder connection is very close to each other and the person who soldered them didn't do it right and caused them to short. A little hot glue between these two power wires, then add shrink tubing would have prevented this.

Bought this harness for my 2013 Toyota Tacoma sr5, everything works well and was a simple install, only problem is that the switch is not made for Toyota’s and does not fit into the slot, hopefully the toyota switch I buy from toyota will be plug and play. I also pulled the light out from the plug since it was constantly on and kept the one for when the lights are in use.

I had to modify them a bit but I believe that is my fault. My original bulbs where only single filament and I wanted low beam and high beam. I can't hold it against the manufacturer since they were not intended for that use.

I needed 2 and should have purchased 4, the plastic is cheap ... one of my connectors was good the other one the little tab broke when I put it together, so it won't hold together at all. Are these usable yes, but I suspect even the one that fits will brake the second I hit a bump.I'm looking for another brand.

One of the ends' came off when doing pre-installation test. Required the soldering of loose wire. Otherwise works great. Used this product to connect (2000 Lumen/25 watt per bulb ) H1 LED conversion headlight bulb to high beam Hyundai Elantra (2011 thru 2016). As safety feature... wrapped black electrical tape (once) over each metal connector.

I bought these because my lights have been melting the plastic harnesses, and I knew ceramic could take the heat. Unfortunately these were not the right choice. Both of them do not fit the lights, and when I tried to gently seat them the ceramic just broke. I can understand if they had broken due to trying to pound the lights in, but I simply attempted to wiggle the light to see if they could align properly. So after the whole side cracked off the light still would only seat a quarter of the way down. I have H11 lights, and seriously advise against these, you'll spend more replacing these when they fail than you would save by buying a little more expensive, and higher quality harness.
