Cedar chips will in fact help absorb and eliminate odors in the house. Cedar chips are just one natural way to deodorize and mask odors that make your home unpleasant. Use cedar chips, or consider another natural alternative to eliminating odor in the home.

Gets the funk out!
As some reviews have mentioned these little sachets don’t have much if any smell when you sniff them. However I found that they are deceptively effective for eliminating odor. I initially put two in my car that I use for recreational activities so it smells like outdoor but not the good kind and there was no noticeable change in smell. However I placed these in my stinky sweaty sneakers one night and the next day my sneakers were funk free. These things are a winner in my book even if they don’t have a the strong cedar scent I was hoping for or expecting. So if you are looking for a product that will leave a strong cedar scent you will be disappointed by this product. However if you are looking to eliminate odor from a small area give these a try.

very easy to use and not too smelly
This is a very good package with a wide variety of cedar repellent products. It does the job properly without being too smelly or sticky. If you have children, I would just recommend you not to use this in their bedroom as they may try to chew on the rings or play with the sachets. I would recommend it.

Great Scent and Protection
I love the smell of cedar and the benefit of protecting clothes and especially blankets from moths in my cedar chest and other storage areas.

Cedar better than moth balls
If you get this, get the cedar sent spray bottle as the cedar packets lose their effectiveness after a while. That being said, I've ordered more of these, they work well.

Powerful clothes freshener in a small pouch
Very clever to take small cedar chips and put them in a muslin bag for easy and unobtrusive storage in a drawer or clothes bag. A lovely and fragrant product that does not leave a cloying or strong perfume odor lingering in the clothes

Cedar dust everywhere
My intention was to have these as my car air freshener. 1st - they don’t smell that strong. Getting into my car (Small Miata) with six of them In there and I couldn’t smell it while I got in. 2nd - They dust all over the place. Just ended up throwing them away. Waste of 10 bucks.

Where's the cedar scent?
I cannot perceive any. I hung them in my closets next to woolens anyway.
