Works great in place of my IR led
I like being able to use this with my IR torch since I don't use my night vision very often. Pop this LED in and you can use it for low light walking in & out from stands. On high you can even use it with a normal scope for yote hunting if you don't have night vision. Animals do react to it but not like white light.

Solidly built, quality light
USE THE CORRECT BATTERIES! There are 2 variations of 18650 batteries. One is flat on the positive (+) end (generally sold at vape shops), and one has the typical bump you see on positive (+) end of AA or AAA batteries. This light WILL NOT work with the flat positive (+) ended batteries (ie: vape batteries). It is a little on the heavy side, but like my headline says, it is solid and not a cheap plastic housing. This should stand up to some tough environments.

Works as advertised
It works well for relatively close objects. It does allow for distance focusing, though light falloff is noticeable. I use it with an IR monocular to check my property at night. It's good enough for that purpose and since it's invisible to normal vision, I don't bother the neighbors.

Impossible to remove light
I bought a second pill for my flashlight. It was impossible to remove the old one.

Works like all the other China made lights in it's class. This is a large light for handheld use only. Not for weapons mounting.
