The Rosary in Art for Children

I hope people do not think this book is just for children.I am 60 years old and bought this book for me because I was hoping it would help me stay focused more on the Rosary mysteries. Since my mind is apt to wander during prayer, I decided to give this book a try since the artwork is by famous artists.I am so glad I did. Not only is the artwork beautiful but my focus on the Rosary mysteries has increased tremendously.

Perfect little book with lovely, uplifting art to hold the attention of slightly older children (I'd say it's good for ages 4 and up, though it depends on the child). We love using our copy during family Rosary time, so much so that I bought more copies so each child can have their own rather than sharing!

My son enjoys mentioning the virtues before praying each decade.

I find this perfect even for adults!! Something irreplaceable about holding a book in your hands. My 4yo daughter immediately went through the pictures and asked questions about at least half of them- the art work is very engaging! Can't wait to put this to use especially during Lent. Inexpensive enough that I bought a few more to give as gifts even for Baptisms or other sacraments. A need for ever Catholic household.

This is exactly what I've been looking for and helps keep my littles ( 3 & 5 years) engaged during family rosaries. The paintings are lovely, high quality artwork that is beautiful to look at.My main complaint is that it isn't a hardback, because we are hard on paperbacks and I know it will wear out within the year.My other (minor) complaint is that Saint Joseph was cropped out of some of the pictures, I will never understand why people don't appreciate him more.I definitely recommend this for anyone who has small children and is fighting off the wiggles. It helps them LEARN the rosary mysteries as well as keeps them interested while praying.

A Good and True Catholic book!Beautiful artwork AND reflections on the meditations of the rosary also, thought provoking questions. My almost 4 year old daughter loves this book and so do I!!! Great as you pray the rosary and even just to read to children!

Lovely art selections, perfect for children and just perfect questions and meditations to accompany as well. Good quality images but was hoping for thicker glossier pages. More complimentary for the paintings and more durable for children

Beautiful imagery and prose. However, if you're expecting childish or cartoon like illustrations, look elsewhere. The art seems to be comprised of Renaissance art primarily. Surprisingly, it held the attention of my children.
