We have been using this massager for quite some time now and we found it to be really effective in releiving some back pains. It does have a relaxing after effect and both my wife and I are pretty satisfied with this purchase. Here's the breakdown:PROS:- Very high quality material and build- Remote controller is intuitive and easy to use- Variations of 2D and 3D Shiatsu massage modes give more "depth" and variation to massage- Able to place the vertical height of the "rolling" massage and also modify the width- Very powerful motors- Included sufficient padding for back and also head restCONS:- The "Lower Back" setting does not reach low enough for most- The back padding is quite thin, might be sufficient for some people, but we end up adding an extra layer of blanket- Included adapter cord could use more length giving more flexibility for location- Squeaking noise around the mid-level (might reach out to their customer service regarding this)Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the massager and how it delivers massage functions. We definitely recommend this product to those who are looking for some back relief.

Very relaxing

I will start off by saying that though I received a defective item the first time, amazon made my exchange super quick and simple and the second item I received has been working great! The issue with the first item was that the massage balls were not lined up evenly and so only the left side of my back would get a proper deep massage as the one on that side stuck out MUCH more than the one on the right. I didn’t realize how bad it had been until I received my replacement and as soon as I used that one I thought “wow this actually feels great!”I have had back problems ever since I can remember which got worse about two years ago while I was pregnant and I got a really bad case of sciatica. While it’s mostly gone away with PT and chiropractor visits, the pain does come back once in a while and this massage chair has been one of the only things I’ve tried that has been able to provide me any relief. I do sometime have to sit on a small pillow so that the massage seat is able to go low enough to provide me relief, but the combination of heat, rolling/2D/3D options has been AMAZING at helping me really pinpoint the source of my pain and work it out. I truly believe this seat does the job of massage seats I’ve seen at over 5X the price.There are a couple of reasons why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. First being the issues I experienced with the first seat which make me skeptical of any issues arising with the replacement in the future. Fortunately, the seller does provide a limited warranty. Another issue I have is that the massage balls on my replacement massage seat are still a bit finicky. They do tend to get stuck in place at times if I lean back too hard on them and apply a lot of weight/pressure. I’m only 5”2 and 140lbs so that makes me wonder how it would work for other people, including my 220lb husband. The massage balls also often make spring-loading, squeaky or clicking noises, which makes me concerned for the longevity of this product. For the price though, this massage chair is just what I need and can actually afford. I did purchase it during a sale/coupon which made it a viable option for me.The takeaway: I know every body is different but if you are someone who has suffered through lower back/hip/sciatica pain, this massage seat could be a great pain relief option for you too!

Definitely satisfied with my purchase! Bought for my work chair so it’s definitely easy and convenient to use when I am working. Has many options for settings in what I want it to do. It massages the entire back of it can be set to one area. Has an option for heat so this is nice so I’m not having to use my heating pad. The seat part of it has a vibration option which is nice. It’s made very durable. Does have some weight to it when I took it out of the box. Over all I am very pleased and happy with my purchase.

Provides a nice simple relaxation message, but it doesn't hit the main target pressure point areas like upper back, near the top of shoulders, or base of neck, or lower lumbar. It does not go low enough into the lower lumbar back where you need it most, right when it begins to reach that area it stops and rolls upward again.. So the areas you really want to feel the pressure of the kneading, to find pressure point relief, don't get close to being touched. Also, you can't adjust the width of the kneading part of the massager to go inward toward the vertebrae or outward away from the spine. The simple massage, heat, and vibration is relaxing but if you are looking for something to hit higher and lower pressure points, this one won't do it for you.

100/10 recommend this thing!! I have an office job and I sit most of the day. I also have an old back injury that flairs up and I just can't get comfortable sometimes. The quality of this massager is amazing. The massage itself feels amazing. I would absolutely buy this again!! It's quiet too which is a plus
