Great Value Product
As pictured on the left: The size I got at the store, and thought I was buying here.On the right: The size I bought here.Definitely WAY worth the price. This stuff will last forever, even with over 80 fish munching on it every 1-3 days.I am a huge fan of Wardley products. The shrimp pellets are the absolute FAVORITE of my cory cats and sucking loaches, and these flakes are also amazing. Almost not water waste, no bright dyes like other brands, and they make my fish so bright and happy. They adore these flakes and I suggest any wardley product if you're looking for a healthy, budget feed for your beloved swimmers.

They never went "frenzy" on it like they do the flakes
Who ever said Goldfish are NOT picky? My four Commons turn up their noses at anything new. I fed them TetraFin Goldfish Flakes since I bought them (for an aquaponics project) January 2013. These are the sole survivors of 20. I have tried shrimp once (Tetra Baby Shrimp) and they weren't enthusiastic about it and barely nibbled on it for 2 or three days. After a week just feeding them shrimp, they accepted it (albeit, grudgingly). They never went "frenzy" on it like they do the flakes. I introduced them to the pellets, with reservations, only because my automatic feeder didn't do well with flakes (Daily Double II by Penn Plax). I'm about to leave for Las Vegas and away for two weeks and concerned the fish wouldn't be fed enough with flakes. With flakes in the feeder, a very small amount (about the size of a dime with maybe a flake or two thick). I usually feed them manually, pinching a quarter-sized portion about an 1/8th inch thick-hmmm about five flakes maybe? BTW- I read in Amazon reviews of the feeder, flakes about an 1/8th inch were better suited. I'll try that. Maybe crush them a bit before loading the feeder? I went to a chain pet store ( I needed the NOW- sorry Amazon!) and bought the smallest container (2.5) ounces a few days before I left. I placed half into my feeder, filling the feeder. I let it run, observed, until I left. True to form, they picked at it. But hooray! Only the first day. The second day they pigged out and devoured the helping ( a good amount, spread one pellet thick about a "fitty" cent piece). I topped off the fish feeder cup and off I went to Vegas. Hey great news, returned home and the fish were alive and well. About half the container was gone (it dispenses food twice a day), so I figured a full container, about 1.25 ounces, lasts a month. I think they're just as enthusiastic eating the pellets as they do the flakes. A feeding is typically gone in under 3 minutes. I change them up with the flakes and occasionally baby shrimp to remind the fish of the other food items available to them :) Hey! I heard Goldfish forget easy. These pellets will go in to the feeder for now on. They're easy to work with and the fish look forward to their feeding. I just put in an order for the 16.75 ounce and I am confident they'll eat it all up in maybe a year! I posted a question under this product asking if anyone has any experience freezing them so I can keep without fear of them going stale. I don't see any harm but who knows? Anyways, order this without any doubts.

Betta fish loves it...
The media could not be loaded. My 12 yrs old son wanted a fish tank so we purchased 2.5 gallon fish tank with a Betta fish.I was so proud of him because he did all the research himself to figure out what he needs to buy and how to setup and maintain the fish tank.We purchased this Wardley pellets based on this research and you can't really go wrong with its price. The container is smaller than other fish food but it's packed with pellets, and it looks like it's going to take a year before running out.I have included some photos to show the size in scale as well as video of the feeding. It's been over 8 months since we purchased the Betta fish and the fish is still doing well and enjoying this food.THE BOTTOM LINE:5 out of 5 stars. Highly recommended! I hope this helps and if it did, please click on the helpful button below. Thank you!

Best value!
I've got that huge can on a promotion for slightly less than 3 bucks and I have to say this will last me at least a year! I'm keeping it in the fridge to try to preserve it better. I have 4 fish tanks with small to medium fish and I've been feeding them twice a day for almost two months now and I don't think I've used even 1/4 of the whole volume. My fish seems to get frenzy when they see those flakes. I like it a lot!

Decent for price
I have one betta fish at home who's as lazy as can be. I sat in frustration watching him wait too long and the food sink to the bottom, only to be cleaned out by me at the end of the week. I have been searching for a product that is not so dense and gives him time to eat from the top, which he prefers. This product is perfect for that purpose. I don't know why I'm asked to rate the flavor (I've never tried it), but he seems to love it.Exactly as ordered. I'm not super knowledgable, so I might be missing some key nutrients in this food, but he loves it. I supplement once or twice a week with blood worms or snacks for him, but overall, he is happy and healthy with this food!

MOST FAVORABLE FOR BETTA
My betta likes to eat this food pellet. The size is small. I feed him morning and night, and each time he only eats about 6-8 pellets. My betta is healthy from feeding this food after a year. Highly recommended.

Saved my fish’s life!!!
For about a year, I’ve been feeding my Beta fish those colored pellets at Petsmart and honesty, he seemed fine with it. But about a month ago, he started to lose his colors, developed issues with floating and slowly stopped eating. I believe he was constipated or maybe the food was going bad? Regardless, i swapped his food with this stuff from all the good reviews and he started to regain his strength, his colors, and now he’s floating in the water again! At first, he didn’t take the food, but after a few days, he took one, then two, and slowly regain his hunger. This food does have more fiber and less protein, so I believe he was just constipated, but still, this food did him a 180 and his health is back to normal! I defiantly recommend this food for your beta fish. Mine loves this stuff and will now only use this food. Do not get the food from Petsmart, either the quality is bad, not enough fiber or both!

Good Tropical Fish Food
Best type of Tropical Fish Food we have tried.I have noticed big changes in pricing and package sizes - and supply issues sometimes.Amazon is still better than the Exotic Fish retailers.Anyone who has Tropical Fish knows the cost and effort required!
