DecoArt Americana Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint, 8-Ounce, Black Tie

Love this product. If you need to paint frames or something where you don't want to see brush marks, this is what you need to use. Covers beautifully, ends up being a matte looking stain finish. It will cover bare wood completely, so it can also be used as a paint. It's not what you think of as a stain where you can still see the pattern in the wood, it does cover, just doesn't end up looking like a thick coat of paint like acrylic paint.

works well for dotting right out of the bottle. Seems to have a grey edge to it. will exchange for real black if i can find it.

I used this black paint to paint some wooden pegs that I used as leg extensions on a small Moroccan end table that was too short. Just a couple coats did the trick, with no chipping or peeling (pegs were raw wood), and I didn't feel the need to use any clear coat and the paint is holding up fine, looks great. More towards matt finish than glossy - a really nice very subtle satin look. Was much better than expected.

Doesn’t apply well

Used as a base coat for mandala stones, this is the perfect texture. Self levelling too which gives the finished result a professional look. Much better than regular flat black acrylic paint.

lo use en un mueble blanco asi q la 1° capa no cubrio mucho pero la segunda ya era otra cosa en la ultima foto se ve el resultado final lo mejor q seca super rapido y no hay q darle ni ceras ni varniz y es satinado con lo q queda precioso
