Cheap and effective
I wanted to write a positive review here. With so many people working from home due to COVID-19, there is a shortage of well-known branded cameras. I knew that it shouldn't really matter who makes the camera and it shouldn't really cost very much to be suitable for zoom calls and the like. This came very quickly. It's a USB 2 camera and so Windows 10 recognized it and had it ready quickly. While it comes with some software for things like motion detect, picture taking, and video record, none of that is new technology - nor did I really need it. I downloaded and installed Zoom, which immediately just used the camera and the mic was available in the device list. I hosted a test call with my iPhone and the audio was plenty loud (maybe too loud, so I lowered it) and the video was fine. Complaints of some grainy images are accurate but not really a problem. Internet connection will be a bigger factor. The stand/monitor "clamp" are reasonable, but it isn't a spring clamp, just a fold out hinge that lets it rest on the monitor. I ended up routing the cable under the camera to lift it up a little, but the angle and zoom are fine and the focus is fine (I really did not want to manually focus). So, if you are looking for an inexpensive camera that does the job, this is it.

it's perfectly fine
I bought this to have an external camera for video meetings while working from home. It does what I need it to do. The picture quality isn't amazing, and I can't hook it to my monitor (i'm sure I could buy something to attach it) so it just kind of dangles at the top of my monitor, but honestly, I don't need anything fancy. For the cost, I can deal with the downsides. My team can see my face and I don't have to open my laptop for daily meetings and that's what I care about.

Does Not Work (Windows 10)
There's not enough information on this product page to know if you want to get it.This camera is made to run with a Windows XP or Windows Vista computer. All the software included on the disk is copywrited to 2008, and I didn't even know there was a disk until I got this thing. I tried to run the software on my Windows 10 computer, and none of it can even run, let alone the actual webcam itself.Don't get it unless you're running a very old computer, and even then be careful and look hard at other products. There's not a built-in uninstaller in any of the software, and it's giving my computer some issues. So now I'm going to have to root through my registry and purge this stupid thing. Avoid the trouble.

Simple to use workhorse of a camera (Works with Windows 10, Zoom & Skype)
I've had one of these (same model in red) for a few years and used it on several PCs, currently we're moving it between 2 Windows 10 PCs; and I also sent one to my sister last year. The resolution is not the highest possible, but it's at least as good as the built-in camera on many laptops. I didn't bother to install any of the proprietary software at all, it's plug and play -- was recognized right away by Windows 10, and works perfectly with Zoom and Skype. And, if you need to take snapshots or a short video, this camera works with the built-in Windows 10 "Camera" app (just search at the start button for "Camera") and saves the results in the user's Pictures/Camera Roll folder. It is hinged to create its own little stand and if your monitor is narrow, it can sit on the top edge of the monitor, but it doesn't really sit well on all monitors - depends on the monitor. Otherwise, just sit it on something stable. It includes a built-in microphone, although I can't quite figure out where that is, but it works just fine. The camera resolution is 1.3 Megapixel, and yields a 640x480 96dpi image, so it's adequate, but not going to be super crisp and sharp on a larger monitor ... I've only recently become interested in looking for a higher resolution camera because I started playing with virtual backgrounds in Zoom and noticed that my background photos are crisper than my own image is, but otherwise I have had little to complain of.

Deserves 5 stars for the price to performance ratio.
For $10 what do you want?! Of course, it isn't going to be like some other, high-end cameras, but for the price, it gets the job done and then some. What else can I say?
