Incredible game, donโt listen to the bad reviews!
Donโt listen to the bad reviews on here, this is by far the best COD game since Black Ops 2. Infinity Ward have pulled it out the bag with this one, they have listened to the fans and have delivered a game that stays true to CODโs roots. The campaign is incredible, very realistic and I love how tactical it is. You have to make choices during the campaign and this determines outcomes of certain things. My only negative is that I wish it was longer, I completed the campaign in a day. The multiplayer is brilliant, classic, boots on the ground Call of Duty. It did take me a while to get used to but once I played a couple of days worth I just couldnโt stop. Iโm hooked! I got the game on launch day and after lots of patches, gun nerfs/buffs, map tweaks and listening to a lot of feedback, Infinity Ward have got the multiplayer playing flawlessly...ALMOST. I wish they would get rid of SBMM and make Dead Silence a perk instead of a field upgrade. Nevertheless I am loving the game. Iโve been a COD gamer since Cod4 and I have not enjoyed a COD game like this one for years and years. Get it bought, you wonโt regret it!

Return to form
The Call of Duty franchise has been a bit hit and miss in recent years, with 'Ghosts' and 'Infinite Warfare' being paticular lowpoints in the franchises. Fans of the older games will be pleased with how this iteration has gone back to its roots. Gone are the ridiculous jumping mechanics of previous CoDs. Guns feel vey realistic, with the often overlooked sound design making the whole experience more immersive. Online multiplayer, the meat of any Call of Duty game, is very good. Already there's been a new free map and I believe the developers intend to continue this. There are the usual host of overpowered weapons that stand out but as long as they act quickly to rebalance them this shouldn't be a long term issue. The games are fast and hectic like any good CoD should be, with many different game modes to suit different play styles. From what I've seen of the campaign it looks interesting, although I haven't delved too far into it. Overall I'd say this year's Call of Duty is a much needed reimagining of a series that was clearly running out of steam in recent years. Hopefully content for it keeps flowing and the developers listen to the fan base.

Said I would never buy another COD.......
The last one was a joke, this release goes some way to making up for it. Good campaign and now getting back into the multi player, not perfect, but what game actually ever is....... After vowing never to buy another COD game after the last embarrassment, I reneged on my promise and bought this game...... and very glad I did. In short, good gfx, good campaign and a reasonable multiplayer. No game crashes yet on the XBox one X from day one, fingers crossed the developer does change that........

Best Call of Duty since Modern Warfare 2
Call of Duty Modern Warfare B+ Pros: -Visuals -Pacing and Realism -Selection of weapons -Smoothness of game engine Negatives -Stuck in the past -User Interface is clunky -No Battle Royale -Co-op is a mess -Large battles are a mess. So Call of Duty Modern warefare is upon us I have owned a majority of the previous call of dutyโs this is the first one I have enjoyed since Modern warfare 2. The storyline is as you would expect massive world upset that needs to be sorted out by shooting lots of people. Honestly I really enjoyed the single player experience some parts are just a grind but in general excellent work by the team. CO-OP - is a nightmare overpowered enemy juggernauts who just ruin it everything else makes kind of sense but the juggernauts ruin it. Multiplayer - a mixed bag of excellent and rubbish. The good stuff gun fight Mode a puritan way of settling things you know where you are you know where your enemy are and you have the same weapons no childish moves just ping vs ping and player vs player the realism mode is excellent until the map is displayed in which case it becomes a who can flank who quickest. The maps are generally good but quite small and all in all good work but it feels like I am marking multiplayer from 2000-2010. The point of battle Royale is that you have co-ordination you can see where everyone has landed kind of you know that if your backs the storm you know the direction of enemy threat you have a mic or a ping system to communicate you have one life maybe more if your team can revive you. But in Call Of Duty no one uses a mic and you have 0 situational awareness just that you dare not standstill and hope that as you move forward that an unsuspecting enemy is to your front. What would really help the large scale battles is a commander one player who sits over almost like a Real Time strategy and co-ordinate players to tasks and deliver care packages etc this may turn the large battles from carnage to sensible with a requirement for a mic that is checked pregame with maybe a pregame briefing room showing the map and the commander giving rough troops to task infil routes etc. This is mode that would make call of duty shine call signs infil in dark and snow enemy commanders against each other as at the moment it is insanity.

Most fun I've had with CoD since MW2.
This is CoD returning to its better days. The multiplayer is excellent for those of us with limited time as the games are short, fast paced and exciting. The sheer number of unique weapon combinations also ensures decent replay-ability as you'll unlock new attachments almost every game. The level of detail in the campaign is also mighty impressive (running on a Xbox One X). Overall a thoroughly decent CoD game, however I do believe if you're personally a bit tired of the franchise this game will do little to remedy that.

Stuck at 66, hard reset and enjoy.
I was going to give this one star as I couldn't get this game to load. Yes, it took hours but checking out the websites under 'stuck at 66 percent on an xbox one' and all I had to do was pull the plug out the back, restarted and multiplayer and campaign was loaded. Graphics are standard for a xbox one 2013 and I accept them, you may not. Good game, stick with it or pull the plug.
