Good enough
The pouch is good enough for my Canon RF 16mm lens and hood and as it is kept in my camera back will stop it getting knocked about or damaged

The Opening doesn't Stretch!!
This product isn't too bad for what it is. It has a belt loop and a hook fastener that can be used to clip it onto other things, and it is reasonably made. The neoprene, isn't that thick, but it's adequate for what I need it for. However there is one area that is disappointing; the opening. At the very top of the pouch, they have hemmed the pouch opening in nylon to facilitate the draw cord channel. This nylon is not stretchy, at all. And so if the item you want to put into the pouch is about the same diameter as the pouch opening, you will have a job getting it into and out of the pouch! For example, I wanted to use this with a Canon RF35mm 1.8 lens, which fits no problem, but only without a lens hood. With the Lens hood attached reversed (which is 89mm diameter), the lens and hood will still fit, but it is a right faff, and requires a lot of pulling and tugging of the nylon to get the lens into the pouch. If the cord channel had been of the same neoprene fabric, there wouldn't have been any problem as there would have been just enough give in the fabric to allow it to slide over the hood.

A soft pouch that appears to be very thinly padded
I have pouches of different sizes and brands, some provided with lenses but about half are independent brands. This is about the least well padded of all and the least substantial. The base is equally soft and thin and nylon covered internally although the benefits of this addition are unclear, and without the ability to retain any shape or structure. It could so easily be improved by using a double layer of its fabric in the base or by adding a circle of foam to help stabilise it.My main reasons for choosing this over another that I had found quite satisfactory was its claimed size and to see how good (or bad) this brand might be. However it appears to be almost identical in dimensions as another product claiming to be 100 x 100mm. It is provided with a belt loop and a clip to enable it to be temporarily clipped to a D-ring on a gadget bag, for example. It could however then be exposed to the elements and there is no indication that the fabric is waterproof - there are very few lenses currently manufactured that include weather sealing so it is better to be safe than sorry. In any event the neck does not seal that tightly, despite a spring-loaded clip to help keep it closed, so rain can easily ingress through any remaining gap.I am unimpressed with the product which is not worth returning, but it will be the last of this type that I shall buy.

Good quality lens pouch
Annoyingly Olympus do not supply lens pouches with their micro four-thirds lenses so, after scratching a lens (aaargh!), I purchased one of these Active Pro Len Pouches in the "50 Small" size (90mm x 90mm). I have the Olympus 45mm and 12-50mm M.Zuiko lenses, and both fit into this pouch; the 12-50mm lens only just fits, while you could probably fit two 45mm lenses in one bag!Criticisms: (a) the bag would have been a better fit for my micro four-thirds lenses if it were a little narrower (100mm x 60mm would have been ideal for the 12-50mm lens), (b) It's a shame you can't remove the plastic hook.

Thick and well cushioned
came out larger than expected, but that means I can leave a lenshood on my 50mm prime when it's in the pouch.
