Wow ! I was super impressed even when I first removed my tongs from the box they came in. They felt sturdy, you could feel they were good quality and they just felt right at home in my hand !I guess if I had to find something that I wish was different, it would be that I wish they could be a solid silicone, similar to their other cooking spoons and such, as it would keep from having a spot that foods and greases and etc can get in to. Other than that, I love absolutely Everything about these tongs and am super happy that I ordered them !The silicone is what I have been slowly changing my utensil drawer to, as I am able to use them in my coated pans. These tongs feel strong and have a firm grip, they operate very smoothly and sturdily, unlike other tongs that I have used in the past that feel flimsy and you fear dropping things that you pick up with them.I had a pair of scissor type tongs that I had been using which were the sturdiest that I had used before, and I hadn't intended on replacing them, even though they weren't silicone. These silicone tongs came out, and I decided to give them a try, and was I ever glad I did ! Needless to say, the old tongs are now gone and I am truly enjoying these tongs and glad that I am able to use them in my coated pans without having to be super careful not to scratch my pans !The silicone is firm and it does not bend like some silicone utensils when you put the least amount of pressure on them. They don't scratch your pans, they grip and hold food firmly, and you don't have the feeling as though you have to move quickly from pan to plate or vice versa to keep from dropping the food in between. I just can't say enough good about them !I most Definitely would recommend these to others ! You have to try them to believe it, and you won't be disappointed !

I got these to replace some tongs after the open/close mechanism broke. In the past, I used some Williams-Sonoma branded rings and a pair of Martha Stewart tongs. I say that to point out that I was a little hesitant to purchase an unknown brand on amazon, but the price was right and reviews seemed good. Plus It was a package of two. I’m leaving my review because I’m very pleasantly surprised with the quality of these tongs! First, I prefer the locking mechanism like this one, where you pull out the ring at the top. That’s just preference. They are solidly out together but not heavy. The mechanism isn’t stiff so these can easily be managed with one hand while holding a plate of food in the other. I use them for grilling mostly and they’ve been great. I haven’t had them very long so we’ll see how long they last, but they seem like they’ll be around for quite some time.

Replaced my old tongs with these silicone ones, so that they're safe for heat. Highly recommend

I have been pretty satisfied with these. They are a nice size, fairly sturdy, offer a good grip, the silicone seems very durable (and is nice for nonstick!), and the open/close lock mechanism works well to where they stay open when you want and stay closed when you want. After about 3 months of once a week or so use, and using the dishwasher, I have noticed that the spring itself inside the top joint is starting to show signs of rust. I expect that it will eventually rust completely. I can't say I'm too disappointed at this price point (and with the supposed lifetime warranty -- untested by me personally, but sure they will honor as long as they're around), and given that I actually bought these to replace some high quality all clad tongs that did the same thing to where the spring eventually did rust completely through (after years) (which they did warranty without issue).Rust on this spring seems like it's probably an inevitability as I think the spring steel used as a spring is inherently not stainless? Inevitable or not, and even though it's purely cosmetic, it would be nice to not have them starting to rust (even a little) after 3 months, so I have to take a star off. That being said, I'd recommend these, and buy them again if needed, because I do think they are a great value.

I love my tongs. Easy to use and clean, Locking mechanism is easy to use and secure. Also you get two different lengths. Great balue

Bought the long tongs primarily for the air fryer, the smaller ones are a bonus, they are very well made and sturdy, the spring action makes them easy to handle
