Are these effective at blocking mosquito from entering the car when the windows are down?

Yes, they work really well to block bugs, and sunlight. The only problem I had was leaving these on when the car was not in use and it rained, these shades drew the rain into the car. I would recommend using them regularly, but remove them when not in use.

Hi, sorry we didn't see this question before. Yes, there is breeze coming through without bugs coming from the windows that have the sunshades on as the mesh doesn't let any kind of bugs in the car. But the bugs will still get into the car through the front windows because these sunshades cannot be used on front windows while driving. I hope this helps.

It came in a pack of 2. I did use it on a trip for rear passenger windows and worked perfectly as a mosquito net.

Hi, Please note that our sunshades are designed for use on the back windows only if you are driving. They are not designed for use on the front windows because you cannot drive with them on. Nevertheless, customers use them for camping purposes making them fit, more or less, by covering the mirror when it is closed/bent over. Since the sun shades are not made for that purpose the fit is not perfect, and you may need some magnets to help close the gaps around the mirror.
