Devardi Glass~ 30 (Thirty) - 3/32 Inch Stainless Steel Mandrels, Lampworking, Beadmaking

These mandrels arrived well-packed and perfectly straight. The surfaces are very smooth and the ends are well-cut without significant barbs. One tip of each mandrel seems a bit more well-cut and smooth than the other, so those ends will be the business ends that will receive the bead release when I use them. It is important to initially rub the mandrels a bit with some steel wool before first use to help hold the bead release (as is true for all new mandrels). The length is good. I made four beads with these yesterday and had no issues with them. Would buy again.

These were supposed to be 11 inches which is already shorter than standard for bead making. I took a chance and when they arrived they are just over the 10 inch mark. I had been warned against this company and now I know why.
