A great kit that has been put together to have available different bi-metal whole saws. I had to cut a 7/8 and 2 1/2 in hole in quater inch steal. I used a drill press to make the holes. It took a bit of effort to cut the larger hole, but I accomplished what was needed. I had too replace the 2 1/2 hole saw, but was worth it being able to finish my project. This set is bi-metal set and if using it more for wood projects, I believe the hole saw would last much longer then used on steal. The canvas case is a plus. Having a case to keep everything together makes it easy to store and available for the next project.

So far I used the 2.5 inch saw and it seems pretty worn down for 2 desktop holes I drilled. There was some metal sandwhiched between wood but not very thick metal. I now need to buy 2 1/2 inch saw by itself.

Good value. Nice case. Good for the weekend carpenter or do it yourself 'ers.

Looks like a nice sturdy hole saw set, but unfortunately I can not use them since my drill is 3/8" chuck and nowhere in the product listing did it state that these require a 1/2" chuck drill.

These are tough, durable hole saws. The sides are straight and the teeth bite well and stay true when beginning the cut. No issues of loosening from vibration. Have used on sheet metal, PVC and pressure treated posts so far.
