It serves it's purpose but it just is cheaply made. Its very shiney and nice when taken out of the package for the first time but it takes about 5 minutes to make it look not new because it shoes fingerprints so easy. It's mostly all plastic and lightweight. It doesn't play MP3 songs easily...takes forever for the song to play and then for some reason I have to keep turning the plug of the earpieces to be able to hear the singer of the songs. I was just disappointed in it. I will say the seller packaged it extremely well. There was no way any damage could take place in shipping. So I give an A++ for the packaging.

New Car...No CD player. BOOOOOO! This little portable CD player is a good solution. It's alot studier than it looks. The sounds is good, the set up was simple. Everything you need is included. So even though I'm not thrilled to be going backwards in technology I am pleasantly surprised to be so pleased with this purchase. If you are one of the few that still enjoys listening to your CD collection in the car, you won't regret this purchase.

For the first time since the 80s I bought a car without a CD player. Being "old school," I couldn't live without them. This disc player is fine for occasional use...the audio connection cord frayed quickly, and having to also connect a USB cord to get power means a lot of wires around the gear shift...but the cost of this player is reasonable and I'm okay with the inconvenience.

Having reverted to this technology after many years past .I was somewhat taken aback by the absence of brands that were benchmarks in prior years . First after purchasing a cheap "jensen" unit , which was returned for function , fit , and performance deficiencies ( namely it wouldn';t even open when activating the switch to begin with . Since the pop up cover was so poorly fitted . Enter Gueway , a gamble , but seemingly a popular respected better quality product . And proving to be just that . I have no negative comment ( rare for me ) . delivers a clean distortion free signal thru my vintage Pioneer super Tuner SX-540 BTW thanks for the buds .

This is a very good personal CD player. The sound quality is very good and it is easy to use. This black oval CD player is very fashionable in appearance. It has a headphone cable, a plug-in line with clips to connect the headphones, and a USB plug-in line. It has a box with two AA batteries at the bottom for your travel. It can also be connected to the USB plug. It has an open switch next to it to touch it. To open the lid and play CD records, it is very convenient to use.Smart small, compact and neat looking CD player. Lovely sound quality and plays MP3 discs/ CD-RW/ CD-R , neat head phones and easy to read LCD screen. For its price I think it is good value.

Takes care of the absence of a CD player. No need for batteries when plugged into the car's power source (looks like the old cigarette lighter port). You need an adapter for this, but it sure beats bothering w. batteries. The sound is as good as the sound coming straight from the system itself on its radio.

This CD player is a good buy if you are looking for a CD player for your 2015 vehicle or newer. I gave it four stars, as it would have been nice to have a "repeat" on it. But overall, the player is good and does not have problems with skipping as you are driving. Good item for the price.

I bought for car and with a new CD it plays fine parked however when driving sometimes it sounds like a record jumping stop/play/stop/splay.
