Mac Mini Security Mount Enclosure - VESA Compatible, Wall Mount, Under Desk - TAA (T5425US)

It is simple, sturdy, easy to install and effective. It is a little pricy, but considering the alternatives it is the best solution available.

Instead of light grey aluminum color, the bracket received is in similar space gray color on the 2018 mac mini, and there is a very nicely coated clearcoat all around, without any sharp edge like the Maclocks MMEN76 (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B1SB3K6) which I had ordered and returned. Look up the review dated 2020-07-10 for the bracket made by Maclocks to see how bad that product is.Even though there is no extra padding inside the bracket like what the Maclocks had, the actual gap is much much less than Maclocks. I think having that little bit of gap actually would help me to avoid scraping my new mac mini when installing it into the bracket, especially if the area the bracket is secured has very tight space around it.The tiny lock that came with the bracket is also an improved version, as it has slight indentation on part of the lock that helps to secure the lock in place when tighten, thus securing the mac mini much better than the Maclocks.Overall, very happy with the quality and the finish of this bracket. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a solid mounting bracket for their 3rd or 4th gen (2010 ~ 2018) mac minis.

I was looking for a way to rackmount my mac mini into a standard 19" rack for use in live music events. I wanted to be able to easily slide the mac mini in and out so I could take it out of the rack between gigs. This seems to work pretty well, except the lock that comes with it does not work well and seems pretty weak. Also the mac mini fits loosely in this mount, so I had to add some sticky felt to the mount to fill the gaps (which also adds scratch protection and a little shock absorption).For design improvement, I suggest they make the lock a little stronger and easier to lock and unlock (currently the key is difficult to get into the lock and gets stuck once it is in). Also, make it so the key hole for the lock points away from the open end of the mount, rather than pointing up toward the top. That would make it easier to lock and unlock when mounted in a tight space (like a 19" rack). It would also be good to line the mount with felt for a tighter fit and less scratching.I could not find a 19" rack mount for the mac mini, but this is working fairly well.

I had an issue with my mount, well the lock not the mount, and I emailed the company to vent my frustrations. To my surprise, they responded quickly and took very good care of me. This turned me from a "never buy from you again" customer to a "tell everyone how great you are" customer. I super appreciate you guys, you are awesome and my product works perfectly now.

Well-constructed and exactly as expected. Works well for mounting my Mac Mini (2014 model) on the underside of my adjustable-height desk.Be careful when inserting your Mac Mini to make sure the screws attaching the mount to the surface are below flush with the countersunk holes, since they can easily scratch the plastic underside of the Mini. I put some tape over the screw heads, which seems to prevent further scratching.

As other reviews have noted, the item listing shows silver, which would match the current M1 Mac Mini, but I received space gray. For $50 the color needs to match. I'm returning it.

Nice bracket, good spacing, simple locking system, easy to install. A good bracket so if you're ok with the price it makes sense to buy one. Doesn't seem to scratch the Mini unlike other brackets we've used.

What I like: it fits the 2020 Mac Mini M1 well, fit and finish is great and matches the aesthetics of the Mini, and with it bolted down to the desk feels quite secure.What I don't like: The product image is silver, the product description is silver, my Mac Mini is silver, the actual product I received is space gray.
