Great strap locks! I've used these for years and will not use anything else. Just get yourself some of these and no more straps falling off. Excellent value for the money and well worth it. The black chromes look amazing!

I use these Guitar Strap Locks on all my guitars (38) No fear of dropping a guitar due to the strap coming loose.

I have owned 3 different electric guitars for which I installed the strap locks. Every single one was pretty simple to install. The instructions in the package are thorough, yet to the point. They lock well, and I have no fear of the strap falling off the guitar. They install with the click of the end-button, and do not detach without depressing the end-button. I have found that you can’t lightly hit the end-button to detach - which I tested to be sure it wouldn’t accidentally detach. I am glad that it takes a fair amount of pressure to detach.If you are buying these, be sure to get a good strap with decently thick ends - and I would go with leather ends because it is more sturdy than the plastic or pleather versions. The cheap straps are so thin they WILL pull out of the locks even if the locks stay in the guitar. In short, don’t skimp on a strap if you’re buying strap locks.

Only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because they sent me the wrong color. But these are the strap locks I put on every guitar I own. I’ve used Dunlop for almost 2 decades and the strap locks from them just work. The lock in place easily, taking off the strap is just a press away, and I’ve never had one fail me.

They are great locks that are secure and are set slightly aware from body to prevent buckling. I like that they are dual design this means if you have your strap locks attacked to your strap you can use the strap. If you forget your strap with the locks attached you can use the guitar as if it does not have a strap lock. Black nickel matched my other black nickel hardware well. Would recommend I have three sets two this color another in chrome.

Love the look. Dunlops are well reviewed so I won’t duplicate all that, other than to mention that I do put a drop of Triflow in there when they are new so that the buttons act smoothly.

I only have one problem with this strap lock system... I like to loop my patch cord around the strap so if I step on it while playing it doesn't get yanked out of the guitar's output jack. This system leaves about an inch gap between the body and the strap. Doesn't hold the patch cable until I tie a knot and looks a bit strange, but it secures the guitar great. Very easy to take the strap off and put it on, and a regular strap can still be used.
