Delightful fun! Blast from my childhood. I purchased black sticky notes and metallic pens for a different look. Really love it! Travel size fits great in 5.11 style cargo pants pockets. I use it mindlessly while watching TV. Self-contained kit is very handy. Great for adults and seniors, not only kids!

Fun stocking stuffer. I’ve played with it more than my son. But he does like to draw and thinks it’s fun. I wasn’t sure he would like it and I didn’t want to buy the full version for $34. This was a good alternative. Bonus is size and storage compartment makes it easy for travel. Papers that go inside are sticky at one end to stay put. Papers are the 3M super sticky notes if you need to buy more so not hard to find paper refills. I like that.

I personally do not like this set very much because the pages are so small, and you can use only the circular outer ring to make designs, so it limits creations to the very center of a three inch square paper. A larger version would be much preferred by myself. Two of my kids love these a lot, though, even though one of those kids has the full-sized version. I think this travel size is actually a little bit easier for them to use because they don't have to worry about holding an outer ring and an inner stencil in place at the same time. They just have to worry about the inner stencil. This set fits nicely in one hand or lap, and has a shallow storage compartment underneath, which makes it fun for car rides. One of my children cut out a bunch of paper to fit in as replacement sheets, but that didn't work too well because they just slid around. We finally read somewhere that we could use 3' X 3' ("regular size") sticky notes, and that does the trick! The original papers were sticky to prevent sliding, so this is a perfect replacement.

Great travel item for young children. Got some of these for my nephews they love them.

A super neat idea I purchased for a local toy drive. I am "toying" with the temptation to get one more for myself! An 86 year old Kid looking for things to keep his mind active.

Fun to use but has a huge issue. The paper you put inside does not remain at place so careful about it. Although it came with sticky papers but I prefer mini index cards since those are thick and does not come with adhesive, so very prone to slide away while drawing. Otherwise it's a very fun item to have and very portable, as a picky person, I really liked the finish and accuracy of the product. I recommend this.

Ok I admit-I bought this for myself and I am not a kid. I had a LONG flight and this passed the time for me. But-if I were needing to entertain an 8-9-10 year old-even older -this is perfect! The unit itself is your outside ring so all you need to do is move the inner disc. Brilliant design! Also, the paper? Sticky Notes! Brilliant again? What do you need? White Sticky Notes are best. Also, Colored pens in multiple colors, and if you really want to crank it up a notch? Get black Sticky Paper and gel/glow Pens for black paper!! My only complaint is I wish the booklet offered more design "recipes". There are design instructions included but it would be great to have some more pictures/ideas. This is well worth the money, all pieces pack up in the box. The included pens are "meh" so definitely splurge for good pens and the white sticky notes (black Stickys if you have pens for black paper) Get it!

This is very well designed. It is compact and well made. The disks and pens store nicely inside under the slide-away cover. It comes with 6 wheels, 2 pens (red and blue), and about 25 pieces of paper. The paper won’t last long, but they cleverly made the drawing space the same size as standard Post-It notes (3” x 3”) so replacement pads are readily available. This version has the same problem as all Spirographs in that it takes a bit of skill to keep the wheels on the paper without slipping. It will be difficult for very young children (under 5 or so). It comes with a small instruction book that contains 5-6 nice designs. It has a link to the website for more, but I couldn’t find much of use.
