Almost toddler proof
I bought this light for my daughter as her battery operated one needs batteries every night since she leaves it on and falls asleep. It lasted quite a while before the handle broke. I'm sure this was due to over use by a toddler. The price was worth the several months we got out of it. I'm sure we will be buying another one soon.

Wonderful little crank light!
My wife picked up one of these for a recent camping trip. It works great. It's light and seems reasonably rugged. My 10-year-old used it for a week and once it was dusted off it looks brand new. The dynamo charges either direction, unlike some other crank flashlights I've found, and it is fairly quiet. The flashlight holds a charge for a long time, too. As I write this, it's been over a week since anyone has cranked it and the light is still strong. The 3 LEDs are bright enough to get around and the beam is strong enough to illuminate 20 feet or more. It's a great camping or emergency flashlight.I'll be picking up more of these so we have one in every car and everyone in the family can have one for camping.
