I bought this shield for my HJC IS-17, and yes it's the one with the internal visor built in. So what was I thinking when I ordered this smoke visor? I thought it looked good.My clear visor, which came with the helmet was all scratched up and I needed to replace it. I have found that flipping a sun visor up and down is way easier than flipping an internal visor up and down. On the other hand, switching the dark visor with a clear one when it gets dark is a lot harder than simply flipping up an internal visor. So the argument can goes both ways. Daytime only riders would probably be fine with the dark visor. For those who ride after the sun goes down, I would say the clear visor.

This is a great product for the price. It is exactly as described. It has a nice thickness seals while with the helmet and there is very little vibration at high speeds. The visor tent is remarkable and works very very well with my helmet. It makes day time riding much easier with a tinted visor. I am very happy with this purchase and if I should ever need another visor in a future I will gladly buy from this company.

Dark enough for comfortable daytime full sun riding. Not too dark as to interfere with night time "City driving". With this shade and the drop down lens inside the helmet , you can dial in the comfort level that is right for you.

This is an amazing visor. Fits perfectly and it is great for sunny to cloudy days. The item is exactly what I was expecting and needing. It fitted perfectly on my FG-17.But, it is dark enough on the edges to make aligning the pegs for securing the shield to the anchors a daunting task. Had to shine a flashlight from the top to be able to do so. Other than that, closes smoothly, and feels amazing.Highly recommended.

Perfect for for all HJC-20M helmets, including HJC's IS-17 series. The dark smoke makes riding in Florida sun comfortable. It is great at reducing glare off of other vehicles. It is darker enough to completely hide your face if that is the look you're going for. I've bought 1 for myself and my GF. Both are still kicking even after a year of heavy riding.

Works great for cutting down on the brightness. Only downsides are that it scratches much easier than the default clear one, and it is terrible to use on dark nights.

Great fit. Excellent tint looks great from exterior while providing great visibility from interior. Almost as clear as stock clear shield. Used on HJC IS-17. Excellent fitment with interlock system and overall. Would highly recommend.

Dark Smoke. Exactly what I needed. Pretty much looks black from the outside. Inside is more of a tint. I ride at night with them and highs on, not ideal but for city speed limits its good enough.
