Madhu International Mandala Ombre (84" x 90", Turquoise Gold)

I bought this to take on my honeymoon to Tulum. I think it will be great for lounging on the beach! The material is nice and thick- thicker than a bed sheet. It's not nearly as thick as a towel but I didn't expect it to be- I think this will be easier to shake sand out of versus a towel. The colors are perfect and I think it will be beautiful in photos. This size is also great! Both my fiancé (6' male) and myself can lounge on this. This honestly exceed my expectations! However, I already had a general idea of these things before purchasing. I purchased another brand along with this one and this is FAR better.

The colors are perfect. They're ombré, a nice turquoise and teal color. The fringe gets a little tangled, and it's kind of thin material but it's perfect to hang on the wall.

This was actually the biggest joke of a purchase I have ever made on Amazon. Me and my suite mates actually stood laughing at how absurd it was. I wasn't expecting urban outfitters quality but this was gross. There was a brown stain on it, the entire left edge had horrible ink blotching, there was a rip in the middle that was clearly there before printing and the color was NOT true to the picture. Absolutely returning.

Absolutely LOVE my tapestry, I just picked my packaged up yesterday and immediately put it up with the lights... I love it! It's so pretty, and the colors are the exact same as the picture! Really makes my room POP, I've gotten so many compliments already!!

These were a big hit for covering up our barn for a party...they are not as intricate and old school as I remember the ones from college, they are more broad and bigger and almost airbrush-y feeling. but fine enough and they were BIGGER than I thought, and they really woked...the tones were pretty and really set the mood.

I, like many of you, was drawn to this tapestry because it is less than half the price of similar pieces at Urban Outfitters. Make no mistake, it is also less than half the quality. While many tapestries are double-sided, this one only has the design on one side, and the material itself is so cheap it's somewhat see-through. Plus, the material is rough; it feels more like a linen tablecloth than a nice tapestry. Finally, it REEKED of mildew. Even for all of the above-mentioned faults I thought I would keep the thing, so I tried everything to get rid of the stench... I let it air our for more than a day, left in it direct sunlight (upside down of course) for a few hours, and even used incense and sprays to try to mask the odor. Nothing worked. After having it hanging it my room for a day the whole place smelled awful (and this was with the windows open, mind you).

I have had this tapestry over my bed for a couple years now, and it's been well used. When I originally got it, it had a very strange chemical smell to it. That took a very long time to get rid of, but it did go away. Looking at the tapestry from a distance, it looks great, but on closer inspection, the print messed up on the fabric. The print does not align in certain places and as someone who is very detail oriented, this is something that has bothered me for years. You can especially tell this is true in the middle of the tapestry where the pattern overlaps. Also, instead of the dye blending easily, they use very small dots to create the ombré look which isn't appealing up close. It was quite hard to pin up on my wall and over time, the gaps between the tacks has deepened and more of my wall shows. I attempted duck tape one time and that was a miserable failure. Also, it is a very scratchy fabric, definitely not soft enough to use as a blanket. Therefore, once I am done using it as wall tapestry, I will probably get rid of it as I cannot think of another use for it. Maybe beach towel, though it wouldn't be absorbent.Overall, it's a cheap looking tapestry and not soft enough to be a blanket, but it looks fine as a pop of color on a blank wall.
