I'll be purchasing the rest of this series. I learned so much about some of the mistakes I've been making and how to avoid making them and others. I have adjusted some of my methods and seen immediate results regarding my personal health and safety (I did a color change today and completely avoided skin contact with my product. Yay me!)

Having studied anatomy, biology, and chemistry before getting back into to the nail industry, I find this book incredibly informative without having to fully turn my "medical brain" back on. Mr. Schoon has a very matter-of-fact, easy-to-understand way of explaining even the most intricate of subjects without making even the newest nail tech. feel unknowledgeable. And, it is an easy read. His books should be required reading for all nail tech. instruction courses!

highly recommend, this book is loaded with questions/answers and is a wonderful tool for any nail technician. every question is explained and answered so clearly. You can see why Mr. Schoon has such an excellent reputation in the industry. This book is worth every penny and I plan on purchasing the remaining volumes.

Learned TONS of terrific stuff in this book. I'm not a professional nail technician but I am so glad I took the time to read through what I should know. And it wasn't too much time, either. Mr. Schoon gets straight to the point, limiting what he has to share to just what is necessary for us to know. Love that!

While the content is drawn from Doug's Face To Face video series, I decided to buy the eBook as it's quicker to find and refresh my memory when required.The book contains answers to many questions posted to Doug from Nail Technicians all over the World. It's a valuable read for every nail professional and essential for Educators in our industry.

Great read! Every nail tech and Nail Instructor should include this book in their library of books. Just when I thought I knew it all in the nail tech world, I read this book and found out quickly that I didn't know as much as I thought. Lol! Must purchase!!!

I really enjoy reading the facts, and these facts make me a better nail tech. We should always be pushing ourselves to be the best we can be. I feel like I am more equipping to protect my clients and myself, which is super important to me.

As an Nail Technician Instructor, I love the knowledge, reasearch, and truth Doug Schoon shares. I believe this book as well as the "nail structure and product chemistry" written by Doug are a vital part of every nail technicians library. Absolutely priceless!

Plenty of popular myths busted and misconceptions corrected, even experienced practitioners will find something they didn't know in here. Give your clients accurate information and let them know that not only can you make them look great, but you know your trade inside out.

I have just finished reading this book and feel like I have learnt so much more! Interesting to read about common myths that are actually untrue, some of which I thought were true. A very good read for all serious nail techicians. Factual information and information you can trust from a real professional within his field. I ordered this book as i follow Doug's work he is very inspirational and will be using this information in my nail technology classes. Thank you Doug Schoon.
