Targus 4Vu Privacy Screen Filter for 22-Inch Widescreen (16:10 Ratio) Monitor (ASF22WUSZ)

I am incredibly happy with this filter. After dealing with sizing on "hard" filters, I ended up purchasing one twice as expensive as this one, and it did not reduce glare at all. Now, my desk is right behind a row of huge windows so I was dealing with some serious glare that was killing my eyes and giving me headaches. When the first, very-expensive filter did not work, I was not very optimistic about this one. But I am glad I gave it a try because it works. AMAZINGLY WELL. Both for privacy purposes and glare, this filter is honestly the way to go. It can clearly take on a high level of glare and perform just fine. Plus it is less intrusive than the bulky, hard screen ones. It has been less than a week and I can feel the difference in my eyes. I love this. Highly, highly recommend it.

Worth it and I bought a bigger size so it sticks out on laptop on all 4 sides and I just taped it and it worked out well.Now, I was going to buy the 3M filter again but when I saw the Targus 4Vu Privacy screen for $21, I couldn't resist and bought it instead.It came in a HUGE box and well packed. The screen itself is very nice and the angles claimed are accurate - 30degrees on either side.However, it doesn't become as dark as with 3M and there is definite light bleed. You can easily make out what is being shown on screen.It also has lesser anti glare than 3M.Overall, I don't regret this purchase. It is quite good actually. Lighting tests -- dark room - with no other light, there's lot of light bleed and people can see what you're doing even beyond the 30 degrees- sunny room - the 30degrees holds up very well. Beyond it, it does get dark but not enough. You sort of can see what' going on but it is quite dark- the screen also gets dimmer a lot more so you need more brightness setting.- colors also get muted imo and the pop is missing- but it works well enough

I have two 27" Thunderbolt Displays and just moved into a new office with floor to ceiling windows and a great view. Due to the office configuration, I am sitting with my back to the windows and the glossy displays were a nightmare due to the glare. I almost couldn't see the screen. I tried the cheaper film protectors but it was a disaster of air bubbles, so I invested in these. Just installed them and the glare is 100% eliminated. In fact, the privacy screen covers only the display portion, not the borders, so you can see the contrast of the glare of the borders vs. non-glare of the display dramatically. As another reviewer said, I don't care for the mounting brackets so I plan to use large black rubber bands to strap the screens to the display. I am using small pieces of tape for now and can finally get some work done!UPDATED: After a few weeks, I still love these. I actually tried the tabs and they were useless, especially on the Thunderbolt displays. The display borders are flush with the display itself, so there is no way to slide the privacy screen into the tab. And when I tried with the slightest pressure they just popped off. I threw them away and went with the large black rubber bands - 2 on the sides and 2 on the top/bottom. This does the trick perfectly, as another reviewer said.One other note - I was a little disappointed in a few larger air bubbles but noticed you could remove them easily by lifting the screen from the bottom and slowly setting back down. Be sure to clean the screens on both sides with a damp soft cloth to remove smudges and dust.Once they are clean and affixed they work great.Finally, be aware that there is a glossy side and a matte side, either of which will work for privacy. But if you want to eliminate glare you'll need to use the matte side.

I bought this because, unlike most other privacy screens which explicitly state they don't work vertical/portrait mode, this screen claimed to work in both landscape and portrait. It's fine in landscape, but not very effective in portrait.

Not very private. No matter if I installed it matte out or matte in, you can still see the screen from any angle viewed. I had purchased a 3M product previously for my smaller screen and they worked perfectly. Unfortunately, 3M did not make screens in this size that I could find. Also, the adhesive tabs they supply don't stick very well, so I had to jury-rig them so the screen would stay on. Unfortunately for me, I have to use them as best I can until I can find better ones.

We use these screen protectors (we have bought 5 of them) at our office (healthcare) to protect our patient's information from prying eyes. They work really great, and are very easy to install (takes about 2-3 minutes). You can see the screen well when you are sitting straight on, but cannot see anything at all when viewing the monitor at an angle.

The screen fit my 13 inch 2016 MacBook Pro with the touch bar perfectly. The magnetism is perfect, and keeps the screen snug, but not so hard that it is difficult to remove. You do have to put the brightness all the way up, even when you're looking straight on, to get the full effect of the retina display. All around, a solid product.

this is just a giant screen protector with a little bit of a security blackout. It wouldn't stick to my monitor (sizing was correct for my16:9 iMac monitor) so I just spit on it LOL and it stuck and hasn't fallen down. Those little adhesive tabs don't hold it up lol. Because gravity and AC will knock it down? Don't buy it unless you need a screen ASAP for a temp gig. Like me. lol. Package was torn open (which was noted upon purchasing) but everything was inside.

Funciona, trae una mica que de un lado es brilloso, y del otro es mate.Pero recomiendo poner el lado brilloso a la vista, aunque si se equivocan, pueden quitarla y ponerla.

He estado usando este filtro por 4 meses; y en realidad me ha protegido muy bien. Personas que se han acercado a mi alrededor, en verdad no pueden ver lo que está en la pantalla de mi laptop. Solamente si estas de frente al monitor, puedes ver la información que está en la pantalla de la laptop
