I was sceptical as I'd purchased a universal charger which had to go back, it was between this one and one slightly cheaper but going off the reviews I went for this one, put my first battery on charge ( it fits) as soon as it came, possibly 2 hours later and put my other one on..great little charger so far..

As the title says, it's just like the genuine charger that comes with your black and decker drill. Charges super fast. Very good

I purchased this because the charger I received with my Black and Decker drill developed a fault. It told me that I had a faulty battery. An electrician friend of mine checked it and found the charger to be at fault. As the drill does not get a lot of use I decided to buy a generic charger as I had expected the original to last longer than it had. I decided on this charger as it was the only generic one I could find that said in the description that it worked with the model of battery I had. So far it has worked well. It may be my imagination but it seems to charge the battery quicker than the original. If it continues performing this way I will be very pleased, especially as it costs half that of a replacement Black and Decker charger.

Bought this for my first generation Stanley Fatmax batteries. Both fits and charges.

After 1 use the LED light stopped working but it does still charge the battery

Please think twice about paying for a replacement Black and Decker Charger? I believe this is Superior to their overpriced Charger. Solid, easier to use, larger green flashing/charging light so one can see it better, charges faster, and the unit itself is even cheaper than paying for a Brand Name, B+D.
