Try normal mode vs. LFE
This worked perfectly. I have a 7.1 system and had a car sub (12 in 4 ohm dvc) collecting dust. That car sub is rated 300rms and 600watt max and this amp powers it just fine. Almost too good. Shaking the floor. Had to turn it down. Crossover works well. I put mine is normal mode. LFE did nothing. This is bridged from my 12 in. Monoprice powered subwoofer. So now I have a 7.2 system and couldn't be happier. Easy hookup, good boom, no complaints.

Good tech support. Update
I could not get it to function. I checked input voltages RCA inputs, wiring the sub direct to a speaker output. Turns out that I had mis marked the sub connections. Sucks bad when it's your mistake. But you have to call it, so the manufacturer does not take the hit for your poor vision.Does work as expected ! There is a pop when powered on but other than that it works fine.

Better than I thought.
I purchased this more as a temporary after my $1200 subwoofer went out hoping to get it fixed. Since I seldom use high volume anymore this subwoofer has worked surprisingly well. My other subwoofer is no longer manufactured and so no one has parts. This one seems to work well so I am keeping it even though it isn't as good as my last one. But good enough.

Unit is low on power
I connected a 61/2 inch tuned subwoofer to this unit and it clipped (speaker popping sound) at a very low volume. I have it now on a FOSI amp and it plays quite loudly with no clipping.

This product did not last a month from actual installation.
I am in the Residential Sound Business. I decided to try this product. As it was new construction it sat in my office a couple of weeks before installation was needed. When it was installed performance was marginal but worked. A couple weeks later the client called and said there was no subwoofer output. The usage was very low on this project. Then I learn any chance for return evaporated just days ago. How can you have a warranty for a couple of months only. I have to review my buying with amazon and go back to Snap A/V as I think Amazon has forgotten what got them to where they are now.

Preserved my dying subs
I had two powered subs that died (or at least the amps died). I gutted them out, turned them into passive subs and used this product to power both. My system sounds great now. It definitely saved me a bunch of money since they were designer subs and not replaceable.

This works very well.
I have a passive subwoofer. My theater receiver burned out, my replacement lacks a powered subwoofer out port. Ergo, I need a way to power the subwoofer. Enter this amplifier.I ran a high quality audio line from the receiver to this amp, hooked up the subwoofer speaker wires and bingo. My receiver now sends a usable signal to the subwoofer that I can control. The subwoofer works well. The system functions well.Best of all, I can control the subwoofer through this unit. It booms or quietly thumps however I want it. That is a nice touch.

Great price, plenty of power, & only minor cons
Some cons:IIRC, the LFE / normal switch seemed to have been swapped and does the opposite. Not that inconvenient, but I guess it's not surprising from a cheap amp in a not-very-popular class of amplifiers. It gets a little warm, so I would keep it out in the open and not tucked away where it can't ventilate. There is no auto on/off. This is annoying to have to manually turn the thing on when I turn on my stereo, and I don't want to just leave it on 24/7. However, I would recommend these smart strip surge protectors. They automatically switch off slave outlets (where the sub amp is plugged in) when the control outlet (where the stereo is plugged in) is off. Smart Strip LCG-3M Energy Saving Surge Protector with Autoswitching Technology, 10-OutletThe power cable connection can be a little temperamental. Wiggle it the right way, and it shuts off. So be sure to connect it securely and leave it alone.Pros:Plenty of power, even for my 8" Alpine at 4ohms (rated for 150-350 watts RMS)I like the crossover knob. It's very responsive and gets you the tight lows you want when the rest of your system handles the mids & highs.Looks decent, and pairs nicely with a black sub box. It's also small enough to just set it on top of the sub, if you're into that kind of thing.Price. Pretty cheap for such an important purpose, and gave me the freedom of getting my own sub, building a box, and using it for home theater. I was tired of trying to find a good powered sub that wasn't way too expensive.
