De SotoCarrera Tri Short - CTS

I just completed my first triathlon (sprint distance) wearing the De Soto Carrera Tri Short. This is the first compression shorts I have ever owned. I tried multiple different brands/types of shorts before finally finding the De Soto Carrera. These shorts were flawless during my entire Triathlon...I am 6'1 and 220+ lbs and wear a size 36 waist in shorts/pants...the size XL fit me perfectly, snug but not tight in the legs/hips/butt and relaxed in the waist with a drawstring to ensure they were tied tight. I despised the bulky and uncomfortable pad used in all other triathlon or bike shorts I sampled. The fleece pad/chamois used in these shorts is excellent!...it provides additional comfort to the genital and butt regions but is smooth and sewn into the shorts in line with the other compression fabric so there is no bulky padding between your legs and in your "junk" during the bike or run. Dried fast as I noticed no excess water from the shorts as I transitioned from the swim to the bike and run. THANK YOU DE SOTO for making the CARRERA!

These are the most comfortable tri shorts I've ever worn... I imagine this is what women feel like wearing "tights".The downside is the seat padding is very thin but I think the comfort outweighs that - if you're biking long distance, i would recommend using normal bike shorts anyway.For reference I am size 31 waist but with big thighs - the Medium fit perfectly.Also worth noting (if the pic isn't obvious), these are much shorter in length than what most people wear.

I bought this for my husband and he used them for his first triathlon. They worked great no hindrance and fit perfectly!

The shorts are fantastic! Bought these shorts for my bf to do an Olympic triathlon and it was perfect. He's about to do the Half-Ironman in Kona, HI and because it's short, it's the perfect length for the heat. The padding is thin enough for a swim and just enough for the bike. He said he didn't even feel the pad on the run. We'll definitely recommend!

Drys quickly, lightweight.... perfect for triathlons.
