Good product, poor posting
The product itself is very well designed and I expect to get a lot of use out of it. My only complaint is about the specific posting for this item. It doesn't specify in the posting that the sissy bar should be a max of 12 inches wide for the bag to securely mount. The tag on the item itself plainly says this, I wish the product description on Amazon would have had this info as well since it would have been helpful for me. My sissy bar is slightly wider than that and the actual mounting of the bag on the sissy bar is less than stellar due to the straps not wanting to hold at the strange angle the wide sissy bar forces them to. Simple workaround for me, but I would have liked to have known up front.

did the trick.. but not the best.
I can't really complain about the bag too much looking at it's cost over the others out there.. I bought this for my trip from NJ to Laconia bike week in NH. It held up, but the rain cover shredded in the wind within one day. The bags are fairly sturdy and strong though. I did have an issue with it sliding from side to side even when strapped down as much as possible. This was fixed using 2 bungie cords to keep it upright. I think if I had a grab bar on my corbin seat it would have helped a little more. The plus to this kit is the large pocket that us used to go over the backrest / sissy bar. It fits perfectly around the large ovalback backrest from corbin when many others just do not fit.As I stated before, the rain cover might as well just get tossed in the trash when you open the box.. it is just garbage quality. pack a garbage back or 2 it will do the same, and probably not rip within the first mile. If that weren't included in the package it probably would have gotten 4 stars.

Great Motorcycle Luggage
This is a great piece of motorcycle luggage. I used this in addition to the locking saddlebags on my bike for a 600 mile round trip to visit my parents over a long holiday weekend. In this Road Pack, I packed three pairs of shoes, a dress for Sunday, six tops, a pair of nice shorts, an extra pair of jeans, a big hair dryer, extra riding clothing (including the liner to my 3-season mesh jacket and extra helmet visor), socks, underwear, pajamas, and enough makeup and toiletries to supply a small 3rd world country. In the small round duffel included as the second piece, I stored rain gear, a clean towel, and my Hyperkewl cooling vest. Instead of tying this small duffel on top of the Road Pack, I put it in a saddle bag.Slipping the velcro and click-strapped sleeve of the Road Pack onto my bike's passenger backrest is easy - it takes a little longer to compress it and tighten it all down. I used the long straps and the two additional straps to strap the pack to the frame of the backrest. The finished product was lumpy but sat securely on the passenger seat behind me. If your bike is equipped with a luggage rack, you could turn the Road Pack around and set behind the passenger seat. For added visibility, I put a Travelway Hi-Vis Vest over the pack.I stopped about 40 miles out and tightened everything down, but it hadn't slipped much and was never in any danger of falling over. I put little things in the four small outside zip pockets, but anything I needed to use while on the road was in my saddle bags. At the end of my trip I simply unstrapped the Road Pack and took it inside with me.There was no rain on this trip, so I don't know how the thin rain cover works.

Passed with flying colors!
I don't normally write reviews, but I just put this bag through it's first test, and it passed easily. I rode up to visit my family for a week. I thought I had packed it pretty much to the brim for my trip up, but on the way back I had to add a bunch of stuff, like an extra pair of shoes, and it held everything. It also fits nicely over my sissy bar, and I didn't have any problems with it jostling around on the bike. I was able to adjust all the straps to make it nice and snug. Plus, I don't have a luggage rack on my bike, so it was nice that it was able to rest on my seat.

Just the thing
I wanted a way to carry cloths or other items but didn't want the bagger look so I chose this sissy bar backpack. It only takes a minute or two to attach, stays put and holds a lot of stuff. I used it on a trip from Phoenix, AR to Montana. It held the cloths I needed for the trip plus things I picked up along the way. It is leather, well built with lots of straps. You can face it forward or to the rear if you have a way to keep it off your rear fender. It has 4 pockets, a large center storage area and an attachable smaller leather bag that buckles on top of the main bag. The small bag works well for things you need to get at or take in with you when you stop places. I kept sun block, toiletries, snacks, water and a few other things in the small top pack on the trip. My bike is setup for street cruising so saddle bags don't fit the look. I am not sure two people could travel far with this but for one it us just fine or two on shorter weekend trips. I guess it would depend on how much stuff you take when you travel. The leather is nice, the stitching was good and it comes with a rain cover. The straps that hold it on can be used as backpack straps so you can carry it around on your back when you take it off if you like.
