Klipsch Bar 48 5.1 Surround Sound System

YOU ARE TRIPPIN!! Or you don't have the patience to configure it correctly. This is a 5 STAR system: I just gave it 1 START 'cause I wanted those who just read the "This Products sucks" comments to see this! I was a little skeptical about it once I read all the negative comments. but once I got it hooked up CORRECTLY, this is a "BAD MOFO" ... When I saw the SubWoofer vibrating so hard that it started 'walking (vibrating) about 6 inches from where I originally placed it, I knew this was gonna be awesome! Now I was educated on one thing tho', If a program is not recorded in 5.1, you're not going to hear big effects from the back speakers until you watch a Movie that is. All n all, a great Klipsch system worthy of the name.UPDATE: So AFTER A MONTH., Here's what I find. It's still a bad MOFO!!! This system is comparable to any other system in my House (JBL, Bose, Pioneer & Klipsch) Except that it has unbelievable surround sound and the bass.. Ok, lets talk about the sub woofer... And this is true, I put it on my wood floors and the vibration from the Sub-woofer was so intense, it began "walking" about a Ft. distance from where I placed it! DAY-UM!!! only the cord stopped it moving further!

So I have always been a fan of Klipsch. Bought some freestanding speakers and a center channel back in 2005. Great quality. Never had a problem. Fast forward to 2020 . . .Bought this Soundbar not once but twice. Saw a negative review but I shrugged it off and assumed that was just a one-off. Based on my previous experience it had to be a fluke, right?!Purchased the first one and it sounded great. Used it sparingly at first and then after a month it started cutting out. Then eventually the soundbar quit all together. Returned it to Amazon which was a pain in the butt since I didn't keep the box.I guess I am a fool and a glutton for punishment and bought another one. Well guess what this one quit after about 2 1/2 months. Now I'm outside Amazon's return policy date and so I had to reach out to Klipsch warranty service. I submitted the request on 1/7/20. Didn't receive a response for over 10 days only to say," Due to heavy traffic . . . . our response times are slower than usual." Now it has been 6 weeks and they still haven't responded on to how I should return the soundbar.Whatever you do. Save yourself the nightmare. DON'T BUY THIS POS!!!

I struggled researching many sound bars, I’m very picky. I own a few different brands of audio, klipsch,Bose,Polk,and infinity. It truly depends on your sound preference/ taste when buying speakers. With that said I prefer warm deep and clear. Klipsch tends to be very great at most , sometimes lacking a deeper tone. The bar 48 out of the box is not great, but give it time for the speakers to break in and it’s pretty dang good. The sub is amazing, I have a rather large bedroom 20’x30’ and it will shake the room. The rear surrounds are the only disappointment for me. The bar itself for music is absolutely great. If you prefer a super surround sound bar for movies it’s not for you. However if you want great sound for music and above average movie sound buy it.

Let me first say i have always loved klipsch sound quality and this soundbar does not dissapoint.However the remote does not work.I put up with it for a while then called klipsch they immediately sent me out another remote and all was good.Two days after receiving the new remote it will not connect,which means everytime i want to adjust volume i have to get up and do it. Cmon klipsch $600 soundbar and you cant get your act together on a remote,very frustrating and irritating.Its like buying a Ferrari and the window wipers dont work,not good enough!

This Klipsch surround sound has amazing audio quality.I had a Vizio 5.1 for 42" TV sound bar, but I noticed that when watching movies, the lows didn’t sound right or the sub would crackle.After installing the Klipsch Bar 48 5.1 system, we were so amazed at the quality. Music sound out of this world and movies feel and sound more immersive. The 8” subwoofer perform super well with really low tones (make a huge difference in movie fighting scenes).We were so please with the sound upgrade that we rewatched a few recent action movies, and they were definitely much better.Bluetooth works fine. I did a stress test for over 24 hours, and did not disconnect once. The one thing I would suggest adding is equalizer options for the sound bar aside of the subwoofer and surround volume.

Bought this system in 2020 and it has gotten consistently worse as time goes by. The setup and overall sound were/are fine, but the surround speakers started beeping (sounds almost like an old modem) and they also scream a static-y sound every time we turn on the system (which is a couple times per day so it gets really annoying.) The only way to stop the static scream is to unplug and plug them back in. The high pitch beeping noise never goes away. If we could send this back, I would. We have applied all the firmware updates, replaced all the connections/wires and tried other fixes.

This soundbar and surround speakers are awesome! Typical Klipsch quality! I already own a home theater with Klipsch speakers, this speaker bar is not quite the same but if your looking for something that sounds great for a small room, these are the best I've heard.
