Such a simple but essential piece of gear. No more poking holes in your clothes with safety pins. This belt holds your race bib securely and comfortably. It does not bounce, it adjusts easily, and it has loops to hold your gels so everything is within reach.

I loved the way these belts adjusted and felt. The clasp that attaches one end to the other wa easy to use. Ease is important as you transition from the water to the bike and you're in a major hurry. Stayed on well the rest of the tri in the bike and the run.

I had ran a lot of races before finding this cool bib holder. It wasn't until I did a Ragnar that I realized something like this existed. These are great if you don't want to mess with safety pins or bibboards. Here is why I love it: -No more holes: some of my favorite running shorts and shirts have small little holes in them from safety pins. I'm glad I don't have to mess with that anymore. -No more crooked bibs: I don't know if it's just me, but I always had to redo my bib a couple times to get it laying just right and centered. -Shedding layers: I usually start out with a long sleeve and then end up tying it around my waist and running in a sports bra or tank top. I can easily shed my layers without having to worry about my bib. -Price: This was a great price for something that has been so helpful. I've run about 5 races with it and been so happy. I have loved this product and will continue to use it. Literally, the only downfall is it doesn't fit my 10-year-old. He does a lot of 5Ks with me and I'm still having to use the safety pins for his bibs. We could probably try to find a way to tie it or pin it to make it shorter, but haven't taken the time to do that yet.

I ordered several belts for prizes for a running club event. I have a 36" waist. The belts stretch enough that they fit when fully extended, but I don't know that they'd be all that comfortable for a long race. I tried one on my 44" hips to see if it would fit a larger person's waist and it did manage. Again: comfort question. I don't know that it would feel great running with it around your waist if you have a need for more than 36" of stretch. This seems to be another case of assuming that if you exercise, you're thin or small. A lot of people do all kinds of activities with all kinds of body shapes and sizes. While these will work for the specific prize winners they've been purchased to award, they would not work for some of my larger client base, which I'd have liked to have ordered these for, too, but won't given the limitation in accommodating larger athletes.
