Guitar Hanger - Guitar Door Hanger Space-Saving Display

This is the second guitar hanger I've purchased from DoorJamz through Amazon. It allows me to easily store my guitars off the floor and looks great. There's no drilling required and the hanger only takes 30 seconds to assemble. Right now due to my current living situation I'm unable to use traditional guitar wall mounted hangers because it requires drilling and is permanent. DoorJamz guitar door hanger allows me to display/store my guitar like I would with a permanent wall mount but with none of the mess. It looks great and can be used on any door. If you don't want to deal with the mess/installation of traditional wall mount guitar hangers or are currently renting (apartment, duplex, or house) then you should really consider purchasing one of these hangers. They look just as good as a wall mount and are just as sturdy if not more so. I'm using my hangers for my PRS S2 Custom 24 electric guitar and my Martin acoustic guitar. Both guitars look great on the hanger and sit straight. There is a metal piece that's below the hanger that supports the neck of the guitar so it doesn't swing back and hit the door. This hanger was very well thought out. That being said my Martin acoustic has a thicker neck and body so I had to remove the neck support for it to hang parallel with the door (it was bowing outward with the neck support piece on which was driving me nuts since I'm very OCD). It would be really awesome if they could find a way to make the neck brace adjustable. I didn't subtract any stars for that alone since I'm very very picky when it comes to anything. Anyways this guitar hanger is pure genius and is a great way to store and display your guitars and still have them easily accessible. I play my guitars more now than I ever have since they're not shut away in their case or put away in a closet. Love these guitar hangers!!!

This is an excellent product and an innovative solution to a common problem. I have 20 month old twins and have had to move most of my instruments to higher ground. This hanger lets me keep one out of reach in a room where I don't want to put a hole in the wall but where I can keep a guitar handy to play with the kids. It is sturdy, well built, and does exactly what it should.On every level, much attention to detail went into the design. It was clearly conceived by a musician for musicians, but not without also considering the need to keep the home looking presentable too. So although it is fully functional in terms of design, the finish quality is also very nice.Guitars are very stable on the hanger too. I have put archtop on it, an electric and classical, all with different neck sizes and headstock shapes, and they all hang well on it. The stabilization bar is a great touch that keeps the instrument from moving or getting bumped when the door is moved—I wish other wall hangers had them too. Installation is a breeze, and the depth of the hook that goes over the wall is just right to. It's deep enough for bigger doors but also designed such that it hangs well on a narrower closet door too. Even on that door, the guitars sit well in the cradle and are stable. The foam padding to protect surfaces is a nice touch and shows attention to the design too.I would not hesitate to hang a high end guitar from it, and am going to purchase a second one for my office, where wall space is limited.

This guitar door hanger is exactly what I needed to save space in my apartment. Well-made and sturdy. I recommend this to anyone looking to hang their guitar on a door.

Easy to assemble - just screw all the separate components together and hang over the door - voila, you’re done.Would be great if the yoke can have a catch to further secure the guitar, especially since it will be hanging from a height that is sure to damage the guitar if dropped.Parker Fly guitars can only be hung using a ‘bullwinkle’. This makes the guitar hang too closely to the opening of the yoke.. any bumps on the side of the guitar might well send it dropping to its death.

Product exactly as described. Easy and simple install.Only issue was fitting this classical acoustic into it since it has a wide neck. I bent the arms oit a bit so it would fit - but it wasn't easy.For my other guitars it worked just fine, even after widening the arms a drop.Great option to save space and keep guitar off floor, while still providing easy access. Highly recommended.

I fancy odd shaped guitars. I am always short on floor space, and can never find a floor stand that holds my types of guitars. That's where this comes in. It's expensive, but mandatory for me. It comes in 3 major pieces and has instructions. I felt so dumb I could not figure out how to assemble it. Once I did, I started to laugh at myself. I assembled it backwards at first lol 😆

Exactly what I was looking for. Secure method of hanging guitar on infrequently used door. Design keeps the bottom of the guitar from swinging.Only complaint I have is the way the components are packaged together, they're able to bounce around a bit. I had some fine hairline scratches in what I am pretty sure is the anodized black metal surface, presumably from the pieces jostling around during shipping (maybe it's paint, or gloss powdercoat. Tough to tell). Gotta be looking for them in the right light with no guitar present to spot them, but all the same, wasn't too thrilled to find them.I would definitely not hesitate to make this purchase again though. Great design, perfect for hanging guitars in infrequently used doorways.

I’m not a guy who usually leaves reviews. I read them all the time though. But this product was worth my time to review. It is incredible!! Just moved into a new house and didn’t want to put any unnecessary holes in the wall. I was Leary about buying this item because it was a little pricey. But it’s worth the money 💯. The design and sturdiness keeps your guitar in place when opening and closing the door. It displays it when wonderfully. You won’t be sorry you bought it.
